Arena NFL Draft 2013

    Only 3 days to go until the NFL draft! Revis is now a Buccaneer. I'm sure there will be lots of trades starting on Thursday.

    Do you want your team to trade up or down or for a current player and who do you definitely want your team to draft?

    Not a specific player persay, but I'm hoping the Redskins draft some offensive line help to keep RGIII on his feet this year.

    If we're keeping Brandon Albert, I'd like to see KC trade out. If we trade Albert, I'd hope its for good compensation, possibly Miami or Arizona's 2nd round pick, and give us Joeckel. Would like to see us pick up a wideout and a good corner, possibly the Honey Badger.

    For the love of all things holy, just no more defensive tackles, please..

    Offensive line. Desired position is about as much as I pay attention to the draft. No idea on players etc, don't care.

    Arizona's OL was a turnstile last year, no hope for Palmer the Statue. Probably no hope anyway.

    I'd like Kenny Vaccaro, the safety out of Texas. Skill meets need meets approximate value of pick. Almost to prefect.

    I want to see the pack trade up and grab an elite tackle. That's not going to happen, but it would be nice.

    The draft is entertaining for me because I live in Dallas so I get to hear the sports talk hosts lose their minds over JJ's stupidity.

    As far my Doplhins, they just better have a productive draft. They've got a lot of picks and salary cap space so this can either be a year we look back at as a big step forward or a wasted opportunity.

    Anybody else watching this ESPN documentary on the '83 draft? It's fantastic, this 30 for 30 series is right on par with the NFL Network's America's Game and A Football Life series, which is some of the finest documentary work I've ever seen.

    I've nearly given up on my Raiders ever having a good draft.

    Fine by me. I hope that means we are getting something for Albert, he's already made it clear he won't play ball with a move to the right.

    Lord Revan, I think Patterson should go in the 10-20 range. Maybe Vikings?

    Hoping the Bengals take a safety (biggest need), maybe a tackle to replace Andre Smith (Long out of Oregon?), and add some weapons on offense. Our defense was stout all season and in the playoffs, so adding some playmakers to score points makes sense to my Madden-conditioned brain.

    Really would like to see them snag Jonathan Cyprien at safety (assuming Vaccaro's gone), which probably means he's going to end up a Steeler or a Patriot or something.

    And about the same for the Pack-- safety, WR/RB, and upgrading that O-line like PRENNTACULAR said would be nice.

    Looking forward to quoting this post for laughs when none of this plays out.
