    Hi everybody, this is a re-creation of one of my favorite threads.

    Essentially, I create a matchup, and people vote on it. I am pretty sure we all get the basic idea. I am going to experiment with a new rule:

    If anyone can provide a satisfying explanation for their vote, it will count double. This will of course be unavoidably subjective, and judged by me (and possibly others in time.) This, of course, includes the expectation of objectivity in judging.

    For right now, I am holding the vote over a period of 48 hours, and we will see how that works.

    First match opens in a few minutes.

    Probably Dr. Manhattan. I'm not as familiar with what Galactus can do, but I'd imagine Doc Manhattan could easily blast him into nothingness.

    If Galactus weren't the product of the infantile drivel which was the Fantastic Four then maybe he'd have a chance. Sorry, but as wonderful as everyone seems to believe Stan Lee is, Alan Moore owns his mom's face.

    I say this with all due respect to Stan Lee, I really do.

    Galactus. It would not even be a remote contest. Manhatten might be in Silver Surfer's league but is not in the same ballpark with Galactus. This is sort of like Borg adapatable shields vs SW weapons. Just because they adapt does not make them adapatable to anything. Galactus is far smarter and more powerful. Galactus has devoured beings as powerful as Manhatten. At best manhatten would make a tasty meal.
