The reason I don't like to compare the trilogies is I think Luke, Leia and Han had some of the greatest chemistry in the history of movies, and in fairness to Lucas he was never going to top that with Anakin, Padme and Obiwan with the PT movies 16 years later. But to help your poll:

None of them on this list is a best to worst. It's most beloved, it's the memories, emotions and feelings I associate with each chapter.. Based around how many times I rewatch a specific film in the saga, this list is the natural conclusion. None are worse, I just love some more than others.

*ROTJ and ANH are very close for me, but for some reason I found myself leaning more towards ROTJ

Very hard to choose between ROTS and ESB for the #1 spot, but the duel between Obi-Wan and Anakin nudges "Sith" just over the top for me!

Also, just as a side note, I agree with Eryndil's earlier comment:

 

I think it's obvious that older generetaions prefer the OT, while younger people connect more to the PT. But I agree, that kind of a demographic breakdown pool would be cool to see.

TPM has moved up in my personal ranking system, simply because it doesn't have the difficult to watch love story running through it. Plus, I think Qui-Gon's a great character.

 

Nah. I'm of a 'younger' generation (saw the originals in 1998 or 1999 at four or five years old and grew up with the prequels) and I just identify with Star Wars. I have no preference of one trilogy or the other.

Now, I hate the term least favorite, because it would mean that there's a lot that I don't like about TPM or Clones. It couldn't be further from the truth. I love all six of the movies, and the favortism of one over the other is very minute and damn near indistinguishable.
