PT Jango vs OT Boba - Who would win?!

Putting aside favorites, who do you think would win in a battle to the death between Jango Fett from the prequels and adult Boba Fett from the original trilogy...

 

Jango, by far.

 

Jango's got more toys. He's like a morally ambiguous Space-Batman.

 

I think it would be a close match but Jango would have the edge over Boba

 

Boba because Jango died onscreen.

Has to be Jango Fett. Greater, on-screen knowledge and use of his weapons and he just appears he can take care of himself more in a fight than his son.

 

Jango. At least we saw him actually fight, and kill, onscreen. Boba, by comparison, is a cool looking door man.

Stalemate. Jango's got a bunch of cool weapons and a pretty good fighter. Boba never finished his "training" cause his dad no longer has a head. Boba's armor though looks so friggin badass. It shows how he's been through a lot and lived. Jango looks pristine. I mean he hired Zam Wisell (sp?) to kill Padme. We never actually find out why he didn't just do it himself. If he can fight Obi-Wan then he can surely kill a Senator. Boba Fett tracked the Falcon when the Empire couldn't. And he's got the coolest line ever too: "He's no good to me dead." Complete badassery. It's too bad that Boba went out like a punk, as Robot Chicken would say. We see him flying around over the sarlaac out of control and "dies" like a wimp. The skiff guards put up a better fight.

So Jango's a better fighter, Boba's more memorable. Both are pretty much equal.

Boba never really did anything except wrap a rope around Luke and get eaten.

He just stood around and looked cool. Like the fake Batman in hockey pads.

 

I disagree with this. So would my father, if you've seen my post on his reactions in the "SW virgins" thread.

 

I didn't necessarily mean that he was memorable because of his beastness. He could be memorable because of how bad he went out.

Moved to SWC from Saga

 

I don't know, we saw Jango put up a good fight against a Jedi Master and even kill one, but we saw Boba fighting many enemies during the episode 'Bounty' in TCW, and he lasted against the enemies longer than four other bounty hunters, and this was all when he was still quite young, and then he went on to become the greatest bounty hunter in the galaxy, so it's be very close! But I think Boba would win.

 

Play Bounty Hunter, you'll see Jango taking on plenty of enemies at once, including hordes of drug fueled, dark side empowered zombies.

 

Jango because escaping from a Jedi > being kicked off a cliff by a blind person.

 

With Boba being Jango's clone wouldn't he technically be able to anticipate every move Boba was going to make?? That's an advantage even the mighty Boba couldn't over come.

 

Just because Boba is a clone it doesn't mean he couldn't learn moves that Jango didn't know. Look at the Clone Wars clones. Some are infantry, some are pilots - but they got training in those jobs. They didn't spring from Jango's cells with that knowledge.

 

Jango was bested by a legendary Jedi Master while Boba was "killed" by a temporarily blind Han Solo.

Not to mention that Boba couldn't shoot the wall of a barn if he was in it.
