May the Fourth Be with You

I've been at it since the first week in January... These things do not happen in 2 weeks. But there is a LOT of work that's done in the last 2 weeks.

 

Babysitter secured! We should be there with Abby around 10.

 

Thanks to the heads up from DieWompRatDie, we have learned that The Nerdist himself, Chris Hardwick is not only aware of our event, but he blasted it out in his website's weekly email, AND he's in town this weekend, so I sent him an invite to attend the event. Haven't heard anything back, but I'm leaving pix of him at the front desk in case he shows.

Also, anyone who will be on-hand when we open the doors...you might want to bring some tissues. (you knew I couldn't go a WHOLE event without some vagueness!)

Ok i went through this thread and the May the Fourth Crew page. I did not see anything listed for 'background checks' . Where was this listed? That we needed to fill these out?

Success! Whew! Great job everybody. The RMFF made this an incredible event and one I'm sure many families will remember. Thanks!

HEY ALL...sooo do we have a final number as of yet? or a rough guesstimate?

 

Sounds like they'll have an attendance number on Friday during a debriefing.

 

2 of the 3 food trucks sold out, the other one was darn close to it. The museum store had a record setting day. The fan film room was full on several occasions. There were lines for Chewbacca, and every single activity & photo-op. DCC sold con tickets. And a little boy & his mother got to see their dreams come true... This was a VERY Successful event!

 

I got the last cupcake.. It was pink ness

I tried one of their Strawberry Lemonade Saturday... OMG! I have yet to have one that didn't make me want more.

 

We got four! And they were all SOOOoooooooo goood!

Can we record the attendance here for posterity, please? Faceborg is great for reaching the other groups all at once, but not so good for archives.
