I had to be at school by at least 6:45, so something entertaining like Sailor Moon was the perfect way to get me up and at 'em in the morning.

Lol nice. I remember getting up at like 5 or something Saturday morning for Gundam Seed, then going back to sleep till Avatar came on. Something like that.

Watching Ronin Warriors wasn't a waste of time, but it was sure a waste of time to analyze every second of every episode.

A fun waste of time, sure.

Sorry, connection cut out on me last night. Short version, then. Basically, agree with heels. For more or less the same reasons. Hal wins in a pretty epic fight (I give him maybe around 55 out of 100 or so). And while BB is a total beast, that prep is just too strong, with Sinister definitely tipping the scales.

Mighty presumptuous of you to assume I'll pass up a chance to vote for Superman.

    Am I serious? Never know.

Why? If the #5 was called before 1 this wouldn't have happened.

We would instead had these trumps fighting, BBfacing a forfeit and my #1 position forfeiting to your Kang/Loki trump.

This isn't a double forfeit situation.

If anything this should be like what happened to Minch and I with neither of us getting credit for a win.

The rules thus far on trumping have been: two trumps meet, winner takes all; two forfeits meet, no one gets anything. However, that two wins thing was for if the same two trumps landed on the same two numbers. In this instance we're talking about a different trump's forfeit, so it's trickier. However, this means that Mikaboshi escapes punishment--and any chance of Mad Men pushing it to teams. Given that, in this case, both of Mad Men's trumps won, I am inclined to give them the first rule of trump busted equals two wins, and since it's a double forfeit, Mikaboshi still gets nothing.

    Judges? GMs?

This is why, I think, this sort of thing has been avoided in the past.

Maybe we create a tie-breaker system.
    When two forfeits meet:
First tie breaker--if the trumps met, the winner of the fight is the winner
Second tie breaker--if the trumps did not meet, whichever trump was more successful in their previous fight
Third tie breaker--if the trumps were equally successful in their previous fights, then no win is awarded to either gm

EDIT: and it wasn't called first because I am not manipulating the numbers in any way this time from their randomly sequenced string. This behavior was protested, so we gave it up and let the chaos ensue.

I don't see why I should get penalized when this could have been avoided by pulling #s in a different order.

This exact situation happened with Minch and I, the decision there was that neither of us got credit for a win or loss. There is already precident in this draft for the exact same situation

Minch wasn't given a loss in that situation.

I don't understand why "draw" is a curse word.

Agreed. All it does is eliminate the possibility of a tied up round and the need for teams. No big deal at all unless the GM was pushing for teams, and if that is the case it is a horrible stategy anyway.

If I get any vote at all it would be to start calling these draws.

What's the difference between a draw and no wins? None.

And I wasn't really around for this last time. But this isn't the exact situation, either. Last time, the other side of the trumps both had a win. So, a draw in that case suits me fine--it's what I proposed in the tie-breaker thing.

This wouldn't be happening if you were all better at GMing and didn't trump ever.

Just saying every forfeit v forfeit should be a draw. No one's there.

True EF, but that is only one of your three criteria for tie breakers.

The other two give someone a loss.

My understanding of this double forfeit thing was that you didn't want to ask gms to resubmit #s, not that you weren't going to do what we have done for 9 prior drafts and call them in a way that avoids forfeit/forfeit rounds.

Why create all these rules when we can just say that allforfeit/forfeits are draws and leave it at that?
