Finished reading Xenocide and Children of the Mind. Very strong novels. A lot better than I was lead on to believe. Time to finish the Shadow series.

I would recommend the other 5 books in the series. The ones by Frank, that is. I won't go near the KJA stuff.

Good Choice. The Civil War Trilogy is brilliant. Exhausting, but brilliant.

About a quarter of the way through Midnight Tides. It's a hell of a lot denser than the earlier Malazan books, but it is hitting its stride at this point. The Letheru kind of come off as a medieval United States, while the Tiste Edur remind me a bit of Native Americans on the edge of the expanding American frontier.

I have been looking forward to this. I found all the books at used book stores and a bookfair. My only other exposure to Donaldson's work is the Chronicles Of Thomas Covenant. Just got through the first couple of chapters, so far so good.

Finished Wedge's Gamble. It was an ok book there wasn't enough dogfights in my opinion.

Now reading Darth Plagueis. This book is one of the most thrilling Star Wars books I've ever read I just have to keep reading it.
