It's a bit more complicated than that. The Force gives you quick reflexes and coordination during lightsaber duels.

Yoda couldn't leave Dagobah because Yoda was in a purgatory-like state. Yoda was dead, he was killed in the cave. Luke was interacting with Yoda's spirit the whole time.

He knew what was going to happen and didn't want to waste his frequent flyer miles.

And if Yoda wanted to go with Luke, how could he!?
I know he is small but those X-Wings are only meant for one person.

Oh sure......can you picture that? How would Luke steer? And it would be really uncomfortable anyway.

Surely Yoda could steer!! In fact Yoda could use the force to steer, it'd be nice for him to get out and about. If Luke had taken Yoda i'm sure he'd have gotten a better parking spec at Bespin, Yoda must qualify for a disabled badge given his age and stick.

Infact if Luke had decided to stay on Degobah and talked Yoda into going to Bespin, it would have allowed for Yoda and R2D2 to have a bit of a road trip scene - comedy gold!

Yoda was old and settled in on his cozy swamp planet...you know senior citizens. "Off my lawn, you will get!" ;)

I think Yoda was simply too physically weak. In ROTJ, he says he is old and week. ESB is only 3 years earlier, out of a 900 year old life-span.

Regarding Yoda and Obi-Wan's focus on Vader instead of the Emperor, I have a hypothesis. Perhaps at this point, it hadn't been decided that Obi-Wan and Yoda were aware of the Emperor's force abilities. It certainly wasn't known to the general public of the galaxy, nor to even the high ranking Imperial officers. Tarkin tells Vader he is all that is left of the "force" religion. The ONLY line that suggests that one of them knew about the emperor was Yoda's: "Do not underestimate the powers of the emperor". This could be explained as a mere force premonition, and "powers" could mean anything. But hell, now I'm mixing in-universe and out-of-universe explanations. It's stupid, sorry to waste you time, but I'm still posting otherwise I will have wasted my time!

Simply let Kenneth Baker out of R2 and get Yoda in there! [face_idea]

Yoda's warning of underestimation seems like a direct warning of "he's gonna pull out some **** you have never seen before" and he does exactly that. Luke thinks he can stand against the Emperor unarmed and we were all shocked to realize the old man could shoot lightning from his hands. Tarkin's line is more reflective of the fact that Palpatine hide's his Sith identity from all of the Imperials, all that is known is that Vader is a former Jedi.

    Yoda was old.
    End of story.
He couldn't even walk without a cane at that time, much less fight Vader.........

Still, he was very physically weak, and if he happened to slip just once in using the Force (and it could've happened because of his extreme physical weakeness and old age), Vader would have obliterated him.

Vader would have probably gone after Yoda with even more anger than at Luke; where Luke was concerned, all Vader had to do was persuade him to join the dark side. Seeing Yoda again would've probably brought up a lot of bad memories for Vader (Clone Wars, Jedi Council, fall to the dark side, etc.) and he would've done everything in his power to destroy him. It would not have been pretty if Yoda faced Vader at Bespin, trust me.

I remember that Yoda said in ROTS that he wanted to go in exile.
