    Sorry to double post.

    The Utah ref who was punched in the face by the angry 17 year old player after he received a yellow card during his game (referenced a few posts ago) has now passed from head injuries.

    That's pretty morbid stuff. I'd guess there were plenty of witnesses.

    That article says that the guy punched him in the side of the head while he was busy writing after making the booking. So he didn't get punched in the face. I'm guessing the temple.

    Either way, horrific. Press release they quoted said the face, but he was in a coma for a while- isn't the temple a pressure point or something? Could explain it.

    Hope for some goals in ManU-Chelsea.

    As much as I'd like to see Lamps get 202 at home next week against Spurs, I would not mind it coming against the most successful English club of the last 20 years.

    As for today's game - United have Cleverley, Anderson & Jones against Chelsea's Oscar, Lampard & Mata. That doesn't seem as though Ferguson is trying very hard to not influence the 4th place result if he's fielding an under-strength team, maybe he wants Spurs not get 4th so he can sign Bale in the summer :p

    What I'd give to hear Martin Tyler call this game as opposed to what we get on FSC.

    Antonio Valencia seems to have no drive these days, United certainly do need a replacement for him if he's going to continue to be so lacklustre.

    United need to change formation in this game, someone supporting RVP ideally.
