I thought the men were harder. Then again, it seemed like all the women's eyes had almost the same seductive look in them and looked like perfectly groomed supermodel brows, so I generally picked "flirtatious" or "interested". But I also only got a 27, so maybe I was picking wrong. (am female, fwiw)

I got 18/36, they all seemed angry to me.

 

I'm slightly surprised a (straight?) woman wouldn't be able to see past what magazine ads say and see that these women expressed emotions beyond "I want you". Interesting and sort of sad commentary on the pervasively sexualized image of women in our society.

At first I'd see someone's eyes, think of one of the choices, and then be like "that's too obvious, it can't be that", thinking there had to be some kind of "second layer" to them that more experienced eye readers would easily notice. So I'd more carefully examine the eyes, trying to figure out what the person was "really thinking". After the first few, I realized what I was doing was probably bogus, and stopped.

And about half way through the test, I started using my hands to block my eyesight of the choices so I could have some seconds of unbiased observation of the eyes, to try and get some idea of what he/she was thinking before reading the possibilities. I feel like this helped me a lot, since from then on I felt more certain about the answers I chose.

I think if I'd thought of these these things sooner, I would have gotten a higher score.

 

I got 31. The test is clearly disastrously inaccurate!

The secret to getting a good result, I think, is to avoid choosing the more "extreme" answers, like seductive, aghast, horrified, flirtatious.

 

This test is racist. Asian's think every one of those people look surprised.
