    I was inspired by this thread, after coming up with my hack alexandrine, to write this little poem for Cad Bane:​



    Cad Bane, thou rogue, thou baleful canon-slayer,​


    Why dost thou mark with infamy our thread?​


    Why dost thou relish every tear we shed,​


    And grow with all our sorrow ever gayer?​




    With thine red eyes and thy cerulean hue​


    Thou makest known that something is amiss.​


    ‘Tis plain for all to see thou art no Chiss​


    But who thy deeper nature can construe?​




    What nescient soul in Lit can ascertain​


    That, yea, a Duros lie under thy hat?​


    What type of creature one as thou begat?​


    We know but that thou art a cad, and more, our bane.​
