Just be glad you weren't there when we figured out that everybody on Lit is just Jello talking to himself.

I take it then that Jello says ten Hail Palpatines every time he logs on as Nick and celebrates the virtues of the Galactic Alliance?

Nah, Nick's mantra will be: It's a trap!

Jello and Nick are the two dominant personalities and the rest of us are just varying combinations of the two.

Ah, I see, he's actually schizophrenic and doesn't actually realise himself that he's having arguments with his second personality.

I didn't want to read too much and spoil myself for the entire first giant chunk of the book, but I skipped around and checked out the prose. It looks genuinely good; there's a lot of potential here.

Imagine my surprise stopping into this thread to check on DOTJ, only to find out that it is a Nick & Jello discussion. :p

    I love Lit!

Do we know when Ostrander's short story is set in relation to the comics?

At the end of the short story, Hawk Ryo goes to Furies Gate (DotJ, issue 1) and Lanoree Brock goes to Tython (DotJ: Into the Void)

So how does the book relate to the short story/comic timeline wise?

Pretty much, yeah. At least for the book timeline. The earliest work period is still uncertain.

The events of the book take place right after those of the short story and are concurrent of the events of the comic.

I picked up mine today. So stoked. I forgot today was the day and I saw it front and center 30 percent of due to its new arrival status. The book includes Eruption, 15 Pages of the First Issue of Prisoner of Bogan in the middle, and last but not least a sneak peak of the highly anticipated Crucible that is on the exact opposite end of the timeline. Not to mention, having the first edition of this book with its beautiful color as a hardcover...Im off to read! haha Reviews on Amazon who got early release on a website gave it 5 out of 5.

Yes, why buy hardback when it's not even 300 pages
