Here's the CBR link. Why has Dark Horse been outsourcing all of its previews as of late? I can't remember the last time I viewed one on darkhorse.com rather than CBR. Assam is pretty awesome, yeah. My first thought on seeing "W3," though, was that it wouldn't be an ideal shortform for a droid name when you're in a hurry. I'd probably end up calling him "Dub Three." Ania has a pretty fantastic line there at the end of page 4.
Very nice preview, I'm reminded of the Hoth asteroid chase, complete with monster attacking the ship. Jao is pretty cool as well. Glad to see a preview up, been liking this series a lot, though the main Dark Horse site seems to be falling behind on updating the previews on Star Wars comics (some released comics still don't have previews, but oh well, as long the issues themselves aren't delayed, that's the important part).
Maybe Jao calls him that so he won't forget to send his W-3 tax from to Social Security . Good preview. Can't wait to eee more of Ania, Jao and AG-37.
I don't know about AG-37 in the preview. His first appearance was fine, but now in the very next appearance he's still saving the day and barking orders. Of course we don't know thats how it plays out based on the preview but I'd kinda like Ania to be the lead and hero, not just along for the ride.
First of all it's AG-37's ship that he's smuggling Ania and Sauk out. Secondly Ania is already disregarding AG's command in the preview. I don't think we'll have a problem with Ania getting sidelined
Funny, I had the exact opposite thought. After 55 issues of Cade, I'm all too happy to see a SkySolo not be a self-important TROUSERS for once.
I wish they called these comics something different. I wonder what they're going to collect the first trade of this series as, Legacy 12?
If it makes you feel better, I didn't disagree with your assessment. And, hey! Don't knock the trousers. They're fancy.
Is it wrong that every time I see Uli do an edit, I will never be sure if he's just in UNSTOPPABLE POWER mode?
Good. They're not making her out to be super powerful or anything. Remember that's she's a junk dealer. A savvy junk dealer, but hardly a warrior in the first place. Makes sense she would need other being's (or droid's) help in the beginning before she becomes more experienced.
