They aren't moving. They just aren't getting a Super Bowl. lol

 

The Dolphins wanted both state and local help to pay for $400 million worth of renovations to 26-year-old Sun Life Stadium. The Dolphins wanted $3 million a year for the next 30 years from the state. Dee said Ross was committed to funding 70 percent of the cost.

 

After what that area has gone through with the Marlins? Good luck with that.

 

Yeah, Kluwe announced that he got released today.

 

Titus Young got arrested twice on Sunday. Once for DUI, once for trying to steal his car back out of the lot where it was towed after he got the DUI. I think it's safe to say Young is now out of football for the foreseeable future.

What is this, like his third or fourth DUI in the span of a year? (I could have sworn I heard he plead out to one and was in the midst of another court case in another)

Yeah, he's looking at a year or more suspension.

Ronde Barber retires.

 

I'm surprised Ronde stuck it out this long.

 

Defensive players seem on the whole able to stay in the game longer than the offensive guys. Probably because if the offense does it's job the defense doesn't have to be on the field as long as the offense.

 

I guess him being a CB also made a difference. They seem to last longer on average than other players (Ronde, Brian Dawkins, etc.)

EDIT: On second thought, Dawkins was a safety. Guess I meant DBs in general.

He's just trying to prove Boise State can compete with the SEC.

 

He was a bad apple in college (got taken out of a game by his coach for doing a front flip into the end zone in a blowout win vs. Wyoming, for instance), and now he's being even more of an ******* as a pro.

 

I don't think he's going to have to worry about being a pro anymore
