The incident happened just after midnight Sunday when a drunken Krusinski allegedly approached the woman in a parking lot in Arlington, Va., and grabbed her breasts and buttocks, according to a police report.
Police said the woman fought off her assailant and scratches can be seen on Krusinski’s face in his mug shot.

So...let me get this straight...the kid already had a history of violence and fired shot at his mother a FREAKIN YEAR AGO....and yet they didn't get him any psychological help OR keep the guns locked up?

Pretty sure he killed her on March 24, 2012, but the trial is just getting started.

Don't remember reading anything about him firing shots at her before then. Not sure if the kid actually has a history of violence, or if that is just what his attorney is using as a defense. It did say that he had a "stormy but loving" relationship with his father, and that he got into fights with his mother (I'm assuming verbal) but would later make up, but there was no history of domestic abuse or any criminal record.

 

Yeah but it doesn't matter who it belonged to. For instance, my father *gave* me my great-grandfather's shotgun when I was 10 years old. BUT...I was never simply granted unfettered access to it at that age.

And if I ever had the audacity to threaten to kill anyone, even if it were in a time of emotional duress, my father would have made damn sure I never so much as even THINK about a gun.

 

Gotcha I re-read it and saw that the crime did take place over a year ago. Strange that it's only a news story now....
