Speculation The comedy sidekick

    In the PT there was Jar-Jar and in the OT there was Lando Calrissian. So who will be the comedy sidekick of the ST? Any ideas?

    ummm.... wasn't C3PO the "comedy sidekick" in the OT and Episode II? It will probably be him and R2 again.

    I don't want someone there to just be a "comedy sidekick."
    That rarely works out well.

    I dont want any character to just be there for the sake of comedy. No...just no. I hope Lucasfilm has learned from Jar Jar and knows NOT to create characters just to pander to little children and for the sake of the lols.

    Lando is the LAST person I'd call a comedy sidekick. Most of the comedy came from the droids' bickering.

    The beloved droids C-3PO and R2-D2

    And perhaps the Solo and Skwalker kid(s) will make some jokes in the first one, but get more serious later in the trilogy.
