But is not Cad Bane's purpose to contradict? And if not, does that not contradict Cad Bane's purpose to cause him to begin to contradict after he existed to contradict.
Mayhaps this quandary ought to be discussed further.

If it was that easy to read, there wouldn't still be people who need to ask the question.

It's more difficult than you are implying. [face_shame_on_you]

But can we be sure she's Togruta anymore than we can be sure Cad Bane's Duros?

I don't know. Are there any Togruta in Chalmun's Cantina to compare her to?

I move that the question of "Ahsoka, does she, Togruta?" be tabled and moved to another forum until such time as we come to a consensus on the matter at hand, that being Cad Bane does he contradict the EU

    This reminds me...

This thread has failed to address the issue of diversity as stated in the Diversity Thread!

Somewhere, we have failed to confront this issue from the perspective of Duros, and have been interrogating the question "Cad Bane does he contradict the EU only from the perspective of a speaker of English. But, as has been established, Cad Bane is Duros, not Human, and Duros is not English. So what does the question actually mean?

The answer has already been hinted at earlier in this thread: there is no question mark. It is not a question; it is a statement.

    Think what Yoda would do.

Cad Band, contradict the EU, he does. That is what this question that is not a question is actually stating. Duros, like Yoda, just deploys a different grammatical ordering to the subject-verb-object norm of Basic.

    That is our question.

    Who is this Shak Ti?
Is she the original donor for the cloned Jedi Master Shaak Ti?

Shakti, meaning sacred force or empowerment, is the primordial cosmic energy and represents the dynamic forces that are thought to move through the entire universe in Hinduism. But not the EU, so clearly, a contradiction. If only the Cad Bane questment were so infrangible.

Well, I was, but I was really pointing out the spelling.
And the suspicious (but proper) repeated vowels....

What about humans if this galaxy far, far away?

And why "a long time ago" if space ships?

Everything contradicts itself, each other, you and me. All of it.

Maybe you're just looking at it incorrectly.

People assume that time is a strict progression of cause to effect, but actually from a non-linear, non-subjective viewpoint, it's more like a big ball of wibbly wobbly... timey wimey... stuff.
