This is my laptop. I use my custom built desktop more though, cause its got dual 1080p displays, 64GB SSD boot drive/1TB storage drive, a much better video card, twice the ram (16 GB as compared to 8 GB) and a newer model CPU (though its an i5 instead of an i7).

    My desktop?

I built it myself, so it doesn't have one.

Also, another reason why I use my desktop more. Sound. I have an amazing sound card on it and the thing is plugged into a receiver powering gigantic speakers my father made in the mid 70s as a College Project.

    Your laptop then?

I think I'm going to build one myself too....isn't it a lot cheaper to build it yourself?

    Mine's a VAIO VPCEH, 8 gb RAM, i5 processor, 500 GB space, I think Intel graphics/sound.

Speaking of which I should update the graphics. I haven't done that in a long time.

My dad also made speakers like that in college, but then they were sold almost a decade back. I'm still disappointed about that, because those speakers were probably better than what I have otherwise.

    7. I refuse to get 8.

Windows actually said 8 was a failure by their standards...

I don't have 8 myself, but I use 7 at school, and I don't think it is something to say hurray for actually. But 8 seems pretty good for me. Personally I prefer XP.

Because it's still the most "sound" Microsoft operating system.

Of course it is. Isn't it the oldest one?

The oldest is always the best. :D

I loved XP but have 7 now. 7 is ok, not spectacular though. Still has some issues.

Most of the stuff I need to run doesn't work on XP so that was mostly why every computer in my house upgraded to windows 7. My dad went from win98 to win7 though, I don't think he ever adjusted :p
