VIDEO Star wars battlecry (the battlefront 3 we have been waiting for)

After what has happend with Battlefront 3, Lucasarts and receant Star Wars games in general.. im just so afraid now lol

Anyway, the game looks really awesome! Im so glad you guys are making it. I will try to help you as much as possible, by spreading the word and such. Also, im pretty good at 3D modeling in Blender. And im practising with Crydev. I don't think im good enough to join you guys though, and i also think you have enough 3D modellers?

Btw, what do you plan to release in the alpha? 1 map or more? I wouldn't mind just 2 sides (rebels, Imperials) and 1 map. That way, we can get an alpha sooner And nobody can stop you from releasing it, like Lucasarts. As thousand of people already have it on their PC

imps is abbreviation for imperials
rebs = rebels
rep = republic
seps = separatists = CIS

Meaning that mr josh archer in fact meant rebels vs imperial which adds further support to the possibility of hoth been the map included in the alpha

Wow many things to respond to here indeed! Yeah I feel it was clear that rebels vs imps could only be imperials I am not looking at anyone specifically on that one but use your imaginations people. I can confirm that the alpha will be rebels vs. IMPerials. If you want to apply Hunter please email in and one of the modellers will see your skills then induct you.

 

This reminds me of the Star Wars Galactic Warfare Mod for Call of Duty 4.

Maybe so but battlecry is going to be a standalone game rather than a mod for an existing game giving developers more freedom during its development which is good for us as gamers

yea just saw it, the scout trooper looks amazing. So good quality!

This is pretty much battlefront 3 but just under a different name due to copyright

It is the closest you are going to get to battlefront 3 in a long time so you had better appreciate what is been done

I can appreciate it, however BFIII is basically my dream Star Wars game... I would not doubt if they release it with the new Consoles

Battlecry? That's the best they can come up with? Sounds dumb.

 

Ok it cant be battlefront cos of copyright and it should keep the style of battlefront been a spiritual successor.

Spiritual successor or not if it isn't Battlefront 3 its not a true sequel. I don't know what name I would have picked but I just don't get the same vibe from Battle Cry as I did Battlefront.

 

Then why criticise the name?

No need for this game with a Battlefront game announced

 

Both star wars battlecry and battlefront are the developers own idea on what the next version of battlefront should have been like so its safe to say that there will be fairly big differences between the two.

Also its another star wars game how can you complain?
