LARCWAC?

Is it time to rename this subforum Live Action, Rebels, Clone Wars, And Classics (LARCWAC)?

Or maybe Live Action, Animation, And Classics (LAAAC)?

Or just stick with what we have?

 

LAAAC as in "lack".

But I prefer LARCWAC, myself ("lark-whack").

 

LARCWAC makes sense to me.

 

Personally I think that we will soon need 3 sub forums.

You realise how long the name will be if we add a letter or two every time a new animated show is created, right?

Anyway, how come nobody wanted to insert a "D" for Detours?

I didn't put an answer. This forum could be called the TV series subforum and I'm still going to call it LACWAC. It's ingrained in me now. Plus "LACWAC-y" rolls off the tongue. "LARCWAC-y" just... doesn't.

 

TF.N is already operating under the illusion that there will ever be more than one forum in the Star Wars Television category, so this forum being anything other than a general TV forum is pretty much ridiculous anyway, from an organizational perspective. Why have a separate category for only one forum? Is it to quell the nerdrage of people who hate Star Wars TV media so much that they just can't bear to see it under the main category?

 

That's why I suggested LAAAC as an alternative.

I guess maybe the elongated "ar/ah" sound doesn't appeal to me. LACWAC has two flat "a" sounds.

I see where you're coming from. This forum does nothing but lark about. This is an example of me just being used to a name. I suppose it really doesn't matter. I come here for the discussion and the people, not for the name. This place could be called Alcatraz, I'd still frequent here.

Why not just Star Wars Television? Make the whole thing the forum. No Star Wars Television -> LACWAC. Just Star Wars Television -> Star Wars Television.

LACWAC was doomed from the start. Once TCW ends, isn't it a classic? And live action is on hold, perhaps indefinitely. Given the status of Live Action, I don't think it even deserves a place in the title. And Rebels is coming up, to ignore that is just silly. So either the forum name keeps changing LACWAC, LARCWAC, LARDWAC, and on and on.... OR SWT. Star Wars Television. Easy.

 

Well, we have to at least call it, Star Wars and Television.

If we're going to change our name, we might as well upgrade to badass.
