OOC Out of Bounds (The ELL OOC Thread)

Lots of high-scoring games today.

 

I'll say! I think that the Miners have just said, "Screw it, we're not going to play defense this season." Real championship winning strategy if you ask me.

Anyways, as asked for, the 273 Hall of Fame class was released today. I didn't get many suggestions. If you have anyone in mind that you'd like added in 274, we can work something out.

 

I think Liam_Vehn and I have that covered for next season.

 

Well, we fought hard, what can I say. That three week stretch of rivalry games looked pretty daunting on the schedule. Good win, Trieste, heck of a game. Now let's see if my squad can finish off the season with their heads held high.

 

Futures League scores and stats are up.

 

I'll get the S16 scores up at some time today.

EDIT #2: I'm having issues with the schedule for some reason.

 

Monarchs are in the same boat... we just haven't been generating offense til today

Liam_Vehn, that was an absolutely incredible post. Excellent use of the first person perspective.

 

Thanks jcgoble3! I find I really enjoy writing from that perspective. There's a depth, in my opinion, that you can reach that I find challenging at times in the third person.

What just happened.

On May 21 at approximately 1:51 pm Pacific time, Jedi Gunny admitted defeat in the endless one-upmanship that is Elite League Limmie.

 

You guys are great writers in your own right. I am not going to sit here and say I wrote the best post ever, because, well, that's just not right. All of our contributions to this game are meaningful and heart felt. We all have our styles and that's what makes ELL, in my opinion, the true meshgeroya, the true beautiful game. We're all talented authors here and each one of you brings a special art form, your own perspective, to this wonderful game.

So, yeah, keep writing, I'll keep reading, and life will go on.

Speaking of which, I still eagerly await jcgoble3 eventually getting around to his storyline.

 

Yeah, I've been distracted lately. Sorry. I'm going to try to make a special effort to get a post written up within the next day or two.

 

No rush. Just wanted you to know that there's still a very interested audience waiting for it!

 

I started out my latest post with a completely new NPC for me. I wanted to write out the discovery of the "Bloody Bucket" which will be the new trophy for the Mercs/Senators games from now on, which shall be known as the "Battle for the Bloody Bucket". He and I worked it out earlier this week as it seems like everyone has rivalry games now. I won't be using that character again again unless she ends up as a Limmie player someday many seasons from now...

That's not a bad idea. Someone take a note.

 

I'm sure 75% or more of the new players we introduce are going to be playing Limmie before long.

 

Think of the stories! The girl who found the bloody bucket wresting it away from the Senators after a 3 season domination of the series by the team from Coruscant...

 

I'm more worried about Trieste obsessing over drafting Galin S'rily in 18 years.

 

he would tank his season just for the chance to do that.

 

He would. But I think we have four more RL years to wait before we have to worry about it.
