Ok, like the Obi-Wan "not able to keep his pants on" story, THIS HAS GOT TO BE WRITTEN! POSITIVELY, ABSOLUTELY.

Of course - they would be so busy comparing notes and drooling - nothing to divide them.

 

That reminds me of a funny fanfic I read on ff.n which featured Siri, Satine, Padme, Asajj Ventress and poor Obi-Wan

Ruth, your Jarbiwan plot bunny is more like a giant, mutant rabbit - scary and disturbing!

 

That's OK, I'll just keep my relationship with the thread secret from the Order. That kind of thing always works out well, after all...

I want a defiant Qui-Gon defying Jar Jar to come anywhere near his virginal - and to remain so - padawan.

(Meanwhile, said virginal padawan can be anything you want, except involved with Jar Jar.)

Wild thought - use the actual TPM script only replace all the words...but nah - that would be impossible to "redub."

FYI for UK folks who might be heading out for the papers - today's Telegraph has a special magazine about Goodwood and Ewan McGregor is pictured on the cover (and inside). He's in his leathers on a motorcycle. The short article is mostly about his love of bikes.

 

I saw this this morning on the dinner table in our living room. It was a nice surprise to wake up to!

Yeah I would aim for a more positive depiction of a romantic relationship but it wouldn't be all positive all the time. It would have its bumps in the road. I remember reading the JA series many years ago but I no longer own the books and I'm sure I didn't particularly like Siri in them (I could be wrong on that). The few stories that I have read - especially Valairy Scot Jabiim fics are very good and has helped me to appreciate their romance and perhaps see why she and Obi-Wan fit together.

Those are some very good thoughts and have got me thinking! You might have inspired me there!

 

Oh Force ! Leave you fans alone for one weekend and you sink to the abyss! How gross!!! Jar Jar and Obi-Wan. Sick...sick.. Obi-wan deserves better.

You guys aren't amused by the thought of Qui-Gon defending his padawan's "honor" against Jar Jar? THAT is what I find so funny - the very concept of Qui-Gon being so protective "father." Against Jar Jar.

And it sounds like Ruth is going to make the most of that plot bunny (no, sorry, I have no idea exactly how she's handling it, only that she is.)

 

Valairy Scot - Yes, that part amuses me....Taht would funny...and I'm sure Ruth will treat it with all the dignity and respect it deserves

Actually it's quite - interesting. Obi-Wan getting a "tongue lashing" from Jar Jar, only to find it is literally a tongue lashing because like the Force, it "binds and penetrates" - or as Obi-Wan channels Anakin, "I hate tongues. They get into everything."

(Yes, Jar Jar attempted to go there. Don't blame me.)

(NO, I haven't read any strange tentacle-sex stories recently. And I'm not - swear I'm not - perverted or too strange.)

 

Now I understand why JJ Abrams is doing the new SW movies...Just came back from watching the new Star Trek movie...fantastic...excellent casting, acting, special effects, I can just imagine what he will do with the Ep 7 and others....
