Challenge Diary Challenge 2013 question for mini challenge

I just wrote an entry using the Krayt Cult and it involves Luke and a lot of bootknocking. lol!

BAH! That's yet another on the pile of unusable entries...

 

I guess hunting those krayts acts as an aphrodisiac.

 

Will tonight give me the useful random article I seek? Or will tonight just be yet another random article that I can't make work in any way, shape, or form? Having my diary be set in prison really limits it...

I may still update, but I'm just pulling it out of the contest because I don't think I can do twice a month for the whole year.

Summer fun sounds good. We can write about a vacation trip or going to the beach. How about fun in the water. lol! Skinny dipping!

 

June is also the start of hurricane season, so something about seasonal storms? Getting caught in one? Fighting in one? A Jedi/Sith making a lesson out of it?

Could also do something about space travel or save it for July?

Considering that between Apr-Sept over a period of 15+ years, the USA and USSR raced to be the first to launch satellites, a chimp, and a man into orbit and put a man on the moon.

July will also be the 43rd anniversary of the moon landing and the 55th anniversary of NASA.

Oh goodness, I need to wrangle my muse and leash it good. I haven't written jack in far too long.

And summer fun? Might work for others, not so much for mine, which takes place in prison. :/

I'll try to slap something together within that week, but I can't guarantee that it will be great.

 

doesn't have to be long either. Some of the diaries I have read in the past are more then a couple of sentences long. long as something goes up...

 

I just have a quick question: Are you automatically out if you forgot to update your diary before the next month?

Reasons a diary will be pulled:

If you don't update in a month, then you have one week from the last post date to get a post up or it is automatically pulled from the challenge
You have to update two times a month minimum. If you post once a month and you do this three times, then the fourth time you miss a post the diary is automatically pulled.
You need two posts per month minimum as this challenge runs all year. You can update as much as you want but remember, you need enough story for the rest of the year.

How about this for the mini challenge June: Stormy skies and it doesn't have to be about an actual storm either. Tradegy can be considered an inner storm by itself or love have blossomed from a bad situation...

July: Summer vacations as this seems to be the peak for vacations. I would imagine traffic around the planet and beaches would be insane

 

I'm going to have to drop out of the challenge. My muse simply is not cooperating with me. I know what I want to write, but I can't get it out on paper. If I force it, everything that comes out will be garbage. Or filler. Either way, it's not going to meet my expectations, so I'm going to withdraw.
