ST Everybody and Yo Mama Wants to Be in Ep. VII

uninspired casting Liam Neeson.....my god.....would Alec Guiness also be considered uninspired....

I'm all for unknown actors for the main characters.....you need Liam Neeson & Alec Guinness kind of casting for the supporting roles...the kind of actors who gives instant credibility and gravita to the whole story.

Currently, the actor (beside the big three) for that kind of role would be Fassbender (too young though)......Russel Crowe....but he's already playing that kind of character in Man of Steel.

Crowe would have been great in SW.....he almost got the Obi-Wan's part in the prequels...

 

I want to be in Episode VII...

Maybe one of the side characters could be Mara Jade-like. Different name, of course, but a similar backstory and look.

George Takei was already in CW. I don't really want to see too many sci-fi celebrity cameos in E7. It's already going to be packed with new and old characters. If I did go to the Trek well, there are some great character actors who could cross over and be less conspicuous, like Colm Meaney.

 

I'm hoping there's more truth to the William Shatner April Fools joke than just a routine annual prank. I'd love to see him and Leonard Nimoy in the film!

When I see them I immediatly think Trek. I dont want Trek in my Wars.

 

I agree... any Trek references or actors would make zero sense IMO.

And why don't they get the entire cast of The Expendables while they're at it too?

 

while i'd love for mara jade to be involved in the new film, i really hope it isn't florence welch. she's far too young.

I want to be in “Star Wars” now too, in J.J.’s “Star Wars.” I mean, come on. Jedi fall from incredible heights and a lot of them have lived with one hand. I think I could handle it.

 

I think a lot of the PT cast would like to be in ST given a chance, Ewan, Ian, Samuel for definate - Hayden and Natalie may be shy
cos of the critics

 

I think they'd all be much more interested in getting their own spin offs than making a ton of shoehorned references and cameos in ST.

 

Jackson was on a uk chat show the other day and was very much into coming back as Mace Windu, he realised he was dead but is still very keen, he mentioned Ep7 in particular

 

Have Ray Park be the fight coordinator.

i dont mind either way, but Disney would see Jackson as a bums on seats name, i think we may get a few mins of ghost/holocrom of him in ST and then starring role in a spin off

 

to be fair he was always second only to Yoda.....i dont see Tan Yuster being a force ghost to (i love jediencyclopedia)
