    Actually Iger stated in the official announcement that the spin offs would focus on "characters who are not part of the overall saga" but other than that little snippet of information nothing else has been said. Just rumors.

    Sorry, LucasArts isn't the only company in the universe that can make Star Wars games.
    In fact...I hear they'll start developing new ones soon.

    What a marketing nightmare that film would be... Jabba in various outfits to sell more action figures. Jabba the Hutt Pizza Hutt giveaways... because every kid wants to grow up to be like the Hutt... Pizza Hutt that is...

    Well yes, the phrase "focus on characters" can be interpreted in more than one ways but most interpret it as: character centric. But regardless, this isn't even a thread for speculation. This is more like a wish list. You have yours

    ...focus on characters can be interpreted in many ways? For example? Hahah, the key point of the sentence was "who are not part of the overall saga"

    I refuse to believe spin offs will focus on characters.
    My sources tell me it will focus on abstract concepts presented through interpretive Nautolan dance.

    The original KotOR and all the Kyle Katarn games published by Activision. Of course it was Raven software who made the latters but why couldn't disney pick Activision? Or maybe Square Enix. Yes, after Deus Ex Human Revolution and DmC Devil May Cry(especially the former) I think the exclusive rights should have been given to them instead of EA.

    So let's see how many ways "not part of the overall saga" can be interpreted:
    1. Not movie characters
    2. Unimportant background characters from the movies(Quinlan Vos, Xizor, Sariss, Aura Sing)
    3. Not Star Wars characters(you know like Spock, Captain Kirk, Frodo, Harry Potter, Tyrion Lannister)
