That'd be The Gathering, part one of the Young Jedi arc.

It was my understanding that the early timeline wonkiness was due to a dearth of completed CG assets; they had a rough idea of the first season or so right off, and they chose to prioritize the stories that they knew would require the fewest assets. Is that not the case, jason?

Would like to thank jasonfry for, at last, confirming that Darth Sidious is a master of all 7 forms of lightsaber combat. It would please me if you were to continue advertising the Dark Lord's magnificence in future Star Wars endeavors. :D

Ok, thanks - always interested in the scenes behind the scenes that we the audience see.

So when are we gonna get the "Star Wars: Scenes Behind the Scenes" sourcebook?

Oh and it should be illustrated by the usual suspects. Doug Wheatley's take on all the authors at Skype conferences and whatnot.

Wheatley!!!! Yupyupyyup! It's always tempting not to take a favorite panel to frame to go on the wall, but then you'd wreck the comic, so ....

Do we get the names of any unidentified vessels like Even Piell's flagship or any new class designations for new vehicles like the police gunship? I know this isn't a new Guide to Vehicles and Vessels but Jason has always been pretty good at throwing out a nugget or two for the incredibly dull human beings like me who care about those things. :p

One thing that gets cleared up is that Cut's kids are both specifically mentioned as not being his biological children.

I kinda loved the ambiguous discussions about this, but anyway :p

Wait wait wait! Does that mean that, the canon word on the Human/Twi'lek genetic compatibility has been reverted back to "impossible?" Could you give me an exact quote about Cut and his kids?

Apparently Leland Chee, in the "Ask Lobot" section of Star Wars Insider 115 stated that Twileks & Humans can interbreed.

And The Clone Wars Character Encyclopedia already stated that they're not his children.

So this doesn't really change anything.

Pity. I suspect that he only answered stated that Twileks and Humans can interbreed because of Cut and his kids in the first place. That doesn't make sense but... so be it.

If being stupid/reckless/incompetent resulted in a criminal sentence, we'd have to arrest everyone all the time.

Has anyone said "It's a TARP" yet?

    Because I'm not going to.

Check your encyclopedia again. It clearly states that he is the girl's stepdad while implying twice that Cut is the boy's father. The term "father" could be debated, but why it would say 'stepfather' for Shaeeah and 'father' for Jek is what has fueled the whole conversation imo. Jek could have easily only been two years old(say in year two of the war) or so, but due to the accelerated aging and increased mental capacity of the clones it would have been a possibility that Jek was his biological child.

Also the Wook had this wrong when I was last discussing this with someone, which was a long time ago - At that point it said that the TCW Character Encyclopedia claimed they were not his biological children - which wasn't accurate at all. It only clearly showed that Shaeeah wasn't his.

I should also point out that TCW Character Encyclopedia lists both Jek & Shaeeah's speices as "Human/Twi'lek"

Of course Jason wrote both books so I'm thinking he was just clearing up the mess a little with this.

No, the Insider comment was prior to TCW and involved reasoning as to why one of Jabba's Twilek Dancers had ears while the other did not. It was decided that the one with the ears was part human, part Twilek.

Anyone else notice Leland's tweet that there are no current plans to figure out how to blend TCW with the prior clone wars stories?

Now if only that means they are going to do the right thing and reverse the damage that TCW has caused to the Clone Wars, otherwise I don't care at all what they do, because the Clone Wars era is dead to me unless they do that.

I had occasion to glance through the episode guide today; it really is very nicely done. And the fact that it's actually in chronological order instead of broadcast order is quite impressive for something like that.
I figured as much; that's what this is for.

I'm not surprised. Why would they want to expend effort in such an undertaking when the very fate of the EU has yet to be decided?

I think Leland should start answering all his questions with this song:
