    Long time TF.net reader but first time convention go-er. I'm coming from Australia and staying at the Atlantic Congress which is next door to the convention I believe.

    I think you have made a good choice on the hotel. I know that when I've flown to the USA it's been worth staying close to the con.

    Hey everyone, just booked my flight today. None of my previous Celebration roomies are coming over for this one, so I'll be staying in a room by myself unless someone is looking to save on room costs by sharing it? I'd be willing to book the room myself, in case a potentially interested person hasn't made a booking yet either.

    I'm a non-smoker/ drinker/ snorer and I speak fluent German for your translation convenience. PM me if interested. :)

    My hotel seems to offer a free transport pass when you stay, seems to cover at least busses and trains "in the VRR area" and presumably Trams too (which is good given trams get there in 5 minutes and then 10 minutes to Messe Essen from the hotel).
    Presumably I can only get that when I check-in, so I'd have to pay to get to the hotel from the station by train and other transport. Hopefully I can get a single ticket and not pay for a multi-day pass which I won't need.
