Quite frankly, ditto on what both of them said. This esophageal stuff doesn't look nice at all.

The two squads were aligned in a ^ formation, with four men facing each direction of the lines of the arrow; their acting simply as a defensive screen against any unknown or possible threats to the rear. Standard, from what I know of American Civil War tactics, rear guard force protecting the rear. The ships on the beach are to the West of the settlement, the beginning of the attack started from the North (technically North-East). There are no Imperials forces to the West (the ocean) or to the South (Public Hangers).

The AT-STs are North of the Octagon, blasting there way through the structure (or around it), and marching from North to South through Free Trader's Alleyway to reach the center of town.

From all of the research I did, Scout Troopers (when deployed in the EU at least) are considered a separate unit from the regular Stormtrooper Corps. Not so much in actually, but in mindset among the troops. So they were more, from my understanding, considering a specialized unit in any Legion (like the 439th Legion). So, if any of this makes sense now, I did not include them in the normal count of troops, rather as a separate squad of together, that was attached to the platoon for this particular mission by Mara Jade (something I should of clarified IC probably).

    Thank you. That's great.

I planned to refer to, or play, one of the snipers, so I will have to make up a weapon for him, since you did not include it in your comprehensive list of personnel and weapons.

Cool. I just recalled, there was a three shot sniper rifle I used in Star Wars: Resurrection, that I must have got from one of the Battlefront games.

Choice of three weapons then. :)

    Best wishes CPL.

As for the game and the Port Haven situation, I have constructed this, approved by Bravo. And yes, the Octagon is a Hexagon, apparently Paint doesn't have a preformed Octagon shape. Also, to clarify, (3 scout troops) are biker scouts, and the 5 scout snipers in the east are the scout troops with sniper rifles. Also, Mary Formal's V-wing was arbitrarily placed. If Sith places it somewhere else then so be it, but that is somewhat near where I thought Sith had indicated.

My next post is up. I didn't bring Taab into contact with anyone else yet. That can be done in my next post. I figured this one was busy enough as it was, and it might take some time in game for him to link back up with them anyway.

As for Atin and goings on at Skip 1, that's above my pay grade. :p

Well, I would be in favor of getting the folks at Smuggler's Run over to Port Haven, but I don't think Whitelight's character has actually signed on with the mercs yet.

Whitelight said her new job will make her disappear for a while. Not sure when she's coming back....

Would be nice if it was discussed on how to keep her character in...

Since Whitelight's character is travelling with her own freighter-sized craft,

    Option One - we leave a forwarding address for Siera(?) to catch-up with the Mercs;

Option Two - wherever we are when Whitelight returns, her ship with entourage onboard, turns up near to us, and we can carry on from there.

Bardan, that was an AWESOME post with Taab fighting with Mara Jade, taking as good as he got, and giving reasons, like the durasteel claws getting sliced instead of the beskar ones back in the ship, and it was a great visualisation of Mandalorian weaponry, eg. I have read about a a dart-shooter in the knee, but seeing when and where that gets used was so much more.

    Well done.

JediFalcon and Kommando, great interactions with that drunk npc of yours.

Well thank you. I rolled that around in my head for longer than usual trying to set it all up right before putting it into a post. To be fair, I have no idea if that was the intended use for the knee pad dart launcher. But it is a tactic that makes sense, at least to me, as that would give a Force user little (if any) time to react.

OK, there is something wrong with me, this had me on the floor laughing. [face_rofl]

I agree with Sith. Falcon, you may proceed how you feel is best. If you have any questions, just ask here. But you have the authority---for this instance---to do what you feel is best for Skip One and Smuggler's Run. :)

I will be getting to posts ASAP. Getting some quick storyline in tonight and starting/finishing up two college projects Thursday and Friday nights before the weekend. Have all other homework done at the moment though. [face_dancing]

I will be getting posts and tags up tonight. I've been staring blankly at college homework after doing most of it earlier in the evening. I get the point from my brain...need Star Wars. :D Going to get a drink, then will be right back to get a post up for Lasso and everyone else. :) Sorry for the delay!!!!!

Niiiice post for Port Haven, Bravo. A lot of meat to work with, and I finally got to read about the Vindicator-class of ships that I only knew second hand from my Interdictor research.

Online, but doing homework. It may take a bit to get back to the Rocketjock and PMs. Just FYI. :)

Oh boy oh boy, do I have...things planned for Port Haven. ;)

Sith-I-5, you may void the Immobilizer 41 cruiser in the Imperial Fleet over Port Haven...it should make insertion of the DD easier. Without Mara Jade to contact, I'm sure your average joe-smoke Imperial captain of the line wouldn't know the difference if Imperial Center sent a Immobilizer to help or not...after all, a Immobilizer would make sense for Port Haven. I forget to edit that last night. :oops:I'll make a OOG edit in the game thread here too. But here is the revised Imperial fleet stats over Port Haven:

    3 Vindicator-class heavy cruisers

    3 Escort Carriers

5 Vigil-class corvettes (more detailed ship data)

Personally, I think you should keep the Imperial interdictor.

Way I thought of it last night, when I read the original ship types; with an Imperial interdictor there, it means the Mercs definitely have to stand and fight, basically everyone pile into it to get its gravity wells to shut off.

[face_plain] The Smuggler's Run group is in for a surprise. What is it, three starfighters and a YT-1300 against all of that? Sounds like a target rich environment.

Also an SGIS' Bantha-class assault transport, and the DD, though we are hours away.
