Anyone planning to go see Man of Steel? I saw the previews, and it looks so awesome.

In the town where I live, there is no theatres, so I'll have to wait for the Dvd releases.

 

I'm not sure yet. If my son wants to see it I will take him, otherwise I will probably skip it.

Rainbow Knight Star: I usually don't go to movie theaters anymore, for various reasons, so I'm going to wait until Man of Steel is released on DVD.

 

I don't blame you Kenobi. I only go when my son or daughter really want to see a movie. It's cheaper to watch it at home anyway.

 

Exactly. It's too expensive. I mean a single movie theater ticket costs like $10.00.

 

It's worse with kids, my son always wants popcorn.

 

I like the way both of you think. Besides, at home, we have the best seat, best drinks, best snacks, etc.

 

And you can pause the movie when you need to.

 

Yup add the popcorn, the candy, etc and it gets even more expensive.

I try to go to the movies once a week, put lately it goes to once every two or three weeks

 

My wife and I used to go once a week, back when we were young and poor and didn't have the obligations we do now.

Though there were times when "date night" consisted of boxed macaroni and cheese for dinner and playing Risk on the kitchen table afterwards. Ah youth.
