The Sith species in the past used to hold this distinction but then the NJO came along and the Yuuzhan Vong became the most violent and warlike species, then Dawn Of The Jedi came along and the Rakata make the Vong look civilized by comparison, living only to conquer and destroy, cannibalizing their own species and others as well, using slaves to find planets and power their weapons and ships, the Vong seem like a more civilized warrior group, the Rakata seem like barbarians that have technology, even Star Trek's Klingons and Kazon look nice compared to them, Humans seem to be the worst of all, having produced the most Sith Lord's and scumbags as well as the most selfless people too, its a 50/50 thing for us.

Groups like the Hutt's are gangsters and sleazy too, but not really interested in conquest, they fared poorly against the Yuuzhan Vong and probably the Rakata too, and Yethva seem to be very nasty and brutal as well, but the Empire started by killing and enslaving them, hard to see any members of these species ever becoming a Jedi, Beldorian the Hutt was an exception but he quit and became petty.

By contrast you have species like the Camaasi who are saints and peaceful, the Ithorians who are nice and into the environment, Chiss who are like police and try to control their own corner of the Unknown Regions peacefully, also those pacifist colonists that Anakin and Asoka met during the Clone Wars, the ones that lectured everyone about wanting peace, they seem like model citizens.

It just seems like some species are geared for war and conquest, while others are geared for peace or harmless concerns, Yoda and Yaddle's species is probably geared towards gaining knowledge and wisdom, basically wise sage like aliens, i think they might possibly be the Whill's, recording knowledge of the galaxy for future generations while keeping neutral and avoiding participation in conflicts, but perhaps not, Qui-Gon Jinn met a Shaman of the Whill's who taught how to merge with the force at will and Yoda was shocked by this.

I'd say the Rakata. They are by far the most disgusting beings to ever come before our eyes as villains. They seek out planets in the force, destroy them and enslave their species. They cannabilise their own and they have no regard for life at all. Their slaves then work by focusing their hatred to power the engines on the ships.

They are just.... awful (but awesome!).

Rakata or Vong, probably. Admittedly, they're somewhat different flavors- the Vong are essentially religiously-motivated conquerers, and while they're incredibly aggressive and seem pretty horrifying to outsiders, it's clear that they do have principles and codes of conduct that are important to them (with the caveat that these are very difficult for non-Vong to wrap their heads around and do little to stem- and in some cases even encourage- their brutality towards "infidels"). Rakata society, from what we see in DotJ, just seems to be a social darwinist nightmare with little morality beyond rule of the strong. In general, I'd say the Yuuzhan Vong are in some ways more frightening, the Rakata are definitely more loathsome, and both give the crown of "most warlike and brutal species" their best go.

I wouldn't be suprised if the final battle is between good and evil is Jedi vs. Rakata + Sith (not the species)

Ahh. I still think their dedication to just conquer by all means necessary makes the Rakata worse. And their use of slaves, torturing them to power their engines.

The one thing the GFFA has in common with real life is that humans are both the kindest and the evilest. After all, Jesus and Hitler were both human.

Yeah well, in the GFFA Jesus is probably an Ithorian or Caamasi. Maybe humanity will get that passed down to them before it gets to the Hutts.

Also, are there any Star Wars space-Hitlers who aren't humans?

    This thread is racist [face_not_talking]

But in all seriousness, I think it's more a matter of intention than action. Sure, we can point at the Sith, the Rakata, and the Vong as examples of brutal, warlike species that made serious inroads into conquering the galaxy and decimating entire cultures, but if other weaker species possessed the same capabilities, they would have done the same. If the Yevetha had triumphed during the Black Fleet Crisis and escaped the Koornacht Cluster, they'd wipe out every other race they could find. If the Ssi-Ruuk had triumphed at Bakura, they would have swarmed the galaxy for the sole purpose of using other races to power their TV remotes. Most of the Charon adhere to a nihilistic death cult that preaches violence and death, but they never really spread that far. Humans under the Pius Dea Republic wiped out entire species on the ground that Humans constitute a more "pure" species than others. So, while I tend to lean more towards the Vong since the death toll they inflicted numbers in the trillions, I don't think it necessarily makes them more warlike or violent than other species. It simply indicates that they had greater capabilities than other similar species to back up their violent nature with violent action.

The Hutts defended Hutt Space for 3 years against the Vong (after which the Vong got beaten) draining the Vong of numerous military resources and binding one of their most skilled military commanders in the process, they were also the quickest to rebuild. The Rakata essentially also got their behinds handed to them once they move against Varl with the Hutts happily taking the left behind technology and venturing into Empire building themselves, which they did for 10000 years before they nearly wiped themselves out in a civil war, only then did they go aggressive Merchant culture.

No one mentioned early Mandalorians? Shame on you! They were quite brutal before weren't they? Engaging in genocide and nuking entire worlds simply because they wanted to fight war after war. Maybe not as bad the Yevetha, Vong or Rakata but they were quite dangerous long ago.
