CT Leia's Dress at the Ewok Village

I always thought that the Ewok's made it for her. Don't really know why though....

 

She was wearing it underneath her Rebel clothes

 

Carrie had it written in her contract that it had to show that her hair didn't actually grow in ear buns.

 

That is so very possible and so disturbing. I wonder if they styled her hair with a comb carved out of a human femur bone.

 

Who just happened to be exactly the same size as the teeny-tiny Leia.

Her Ewok village dress is a bit of a puzzler, as is the towel Luke dries his hair with after they get out of the garbage compactor in ANH. Did he get it from a Death Star linen cupboard?

 

GL stopped being able to make movies that made logical sense by the time ROTJ came out.

 

Well, Leia is a diplomat. The Ewoks welcomed her into their village, and when they made her a dress, she didn't want to offend them. The Rebels needed all the help they could get, so why not enlist the locals? I'm sure she realized that 3PO would be along eventually to translate.

 

GL wasn't completely logical in ANH and ESB. And I had recently watched both.

 

GL stopped being being concerned about good storytelling by the time ROTJ came out.

 

I never noticed just how that dress looked from the waist down until I saw someone wearing it at Celebration V.
Whoa, imagine if there were a Princess Leia Journal like there was a Queen Amidala Journal.

 

You must have missed the deleted scene on the BluRay movies that takes place right before they leave for Endor in the stolen Empire Ship:

Han: Leia, are you ready to go?

Leia: Wait, I'm still packing!

Han: Come on, we have to leave for Endor!

Leia: Let me just take this dress, just in case we meet some unknown tribe of little furry people that captures you guys.

Han: You mean Ewoks? I thought George was going to use a Wookie planet?

Leia: No, he wants to cater to a younger audience, so he is going with Ewoks.

Han: Well, atleast he threw out the Gungan planet idea he was telling me about!

Leia: Don't worry, he said once they can create a CGI character, he has got a great idea for a Gungan!

 

I like the idea that Leia bonded with the Ewoks enough for them to give her a change of clothes as a gift. After all, she was probably getting really rank after waiting five months for the others to find her.

 

Damn, those stormtrooper utility belts come with everything! Grappling hooks, towels, comlinks. That's probably it.

Alternate answer is Luke is using a trash compactor towel. Ew.

 

Ewoks stole it from the Imperial base. Standard Imperial forest leisure wear for women.

 

Luke was already wearing a towel. That was a piece of his outfit.
