Barbapapa is brilliant. A pink blob that can turn into anything--his wife is black, and one of his sons is furry. You can't top it. If I ever manage to think up something even half as great as that, I can die a happy man.

They also liked to design, build and dwell in modern architecture.

Ha! "Use PR 24". You also could use o d to open doors and c d to close them. Classic.

So, how many of you first-generation fans (like me) saw this before you saw "Star Wars" for the first time?

Toy art from the 80's was Awesome.

However the commercials were just as Awesome. Espeically He-Man

I remember when they first started using this, as well as the short detailing the model work used in filming it. Very impressive.

I don't recall that one. But this was a standard back in the day.

    Yes, even that thing.

However, Texas Instruments made a far better version for their home computers called Munch-Man which was sort of an anti-pac man. Instead of eating dots, you connected links to form a chain. That was a great pac man style game, far better than atari

I love those old movie promos. Back before cable those things were quite an event. You would all talk about it at school the next day.

If munch man isn't eating dot why is he called munch man? More like dump man.
