Full Series TCW bonus material episode discussion (spoilers)

I was actually joking about the idea that Yoda is a Whill, but I'm sure we'll learn about the Whills. I'm so pumped! (for Whills and Dagobah! At last, Mortis explained!)

 

Dave was on the RFR podcast last week.

Couldn't say much about the bonus content, but production is STILL going on and that the quality of the episodes are on par with season 5 if not more so. I get the feeling that they don't quite know how it'll be released yet. Perhaps deals are still being made? Netflix or Hulu or direct to video?

Dave also says that there will be much to discuss, so I'm guessing some big happenings - character deaths? Force ghost reveals?

 

This is excellent news. If production is still going on, that's very good. If the bonus episodes are on par with Season 5 does he mean on par with stuff like the droid arc or the Maul arc and Ahsoka fugitive arc?

 

Haha, I think he meant animation-wise and presentation-wise. We won't see budget material rushed out and chopped up into 5 minute shorts or some nonsense. They'll be on par, and in some places better than, season 5 visuals and will probably be episodes or movie length arcs.

But I think there ARE some things that will be on the level of Maul arc in terms of important events. I'm guessing the Sifo-Dyas and Force Ghost stuff, but I really hope Bounty Hunter arc is also included. Given they are STILL working on it... could be?

He equated the show ending with a train stopping. The show was announced as ending, but wheels are still in motion as they grind to a halt. So hopefully the in-progress stuff is being completed.

 

This gives me hope that we may get more then expected.

 

If the bonus stuff is anything like the end of S5 with the Ahsoka arc, BUT WITH A LOT MORE SEPARATISTS in it - THEN I am happy!

I hope and believe so.

 

I love that they made a Jedi Interceptor scaled to Yoda's size. i wish we could have seen Master Yoda and Even Piell leading a starfighter attack in one of the earlier seasons that would have been great.

I'm kidding, I couldn't tell you, but I hope its hinting at the Yoda-arc's content.

 

It looks to be some sort of rock formation of somebody. Perhaps a statue

 

It is from the Yoda arc. What if it is a Qui-Gon tree!? Qui-Gon appearing as a spirit in the form of a tree. Like in the Disney movie "Pocahontas".

 

Have we ever see a tree talk in the Star Wars Universe?

 

Oh, forgot about those "trees"

 

That Pocahontas scene reminds me of the Dagobah cave...

 

To this day, these remain the only episodes of TCW that I have NEVER watched. And I don't intend on watching them either...

 

I love them. The best 3PO-R2 misadventures the series produced IMO.
