Why is David Aldridge reporting team's picks on Twitter before they're announced? What a terrible thing to do.

Vic Oladipo to Orlando! Excited that he was the second pick; that's pretty cool.

And Zeller #4 to the Charlotte Bobcats.

He's obviously having a bit of fun since it's his last draft.

EDIT: Is this his last function period? What date specifically is he retiring?

Didn't see Bennett coming, but I do like the pick. He could start day one at the three, and that's not a bad thing.

Oh, and I'd like to thank Charlotte for making a bigger reach.

Think they still take Karasev at 19 then?

    Interesting from Philly. Certainly gutsy.

Actually, I'm holding out hope that the Thomas Robinson trade rumors are true. That'd be the ideal situation.

Lacking that, a shoot would be nice. Karasev, if he's there, is ideal. Or Dieng, from Louisville.

But, really, a trade. Don't want to see four rookies.

Bill Simmons has actually been pretty good tonight, and funny. Bilas is always awesome. ESPN should keep this group together.

Nets just landed KG and Paul Pierce.

KG, Brook Lopez, Pierce, Joe Johnson, Deron Williams. And Jason Kidd coaching!

Wish they'd retired as Celtics, but glad they're still together.

Oh and PS, **** THE HEAT!

I was eating in West Philly when it came on the news. After how our dream season with Bynum went, this trade had contemplated going outside and putting my head under a tire. We should have traded the entire rest of the lineup. Nobody is worth Jrue... in context to the blowup of the franchise in the past 365 days. Hiring Brown from the Spurs as our coach is solid, but losing Jrue is deflating. It's so unstable.

    Precisely.

Philly got Nerlens Noel, who was projected to go first overall. The upside is that our 11th overall pick was Williams-Carter who is massive and also Noel's BFF. We cleared Jrue's 11m/yr salary and made the team instantly younger in general. The downside? Noel won't start the season due to an ACL surgery. You may find the 76ers and monumental trades for players with bad knees to be somehow familiar. Also, did I mention it was for Jrue Holiday...

if the truth and kg have enough left in the tank that team might give the heat a run for their money. of course the bulls should be pretty good too and the pacers should continue to improve. should be fun. i might want to get in on a nets game. i'll be in brooklyn sometime in march, would be cool if we could make it work.

Up for that. I don't mind going to a Nets game, though I'd prefer if it was a Knicks-Nets game in March

Let's do it! xblackout and I have Pierce/KG jerseys.

Also, Philly fans need to chill. If your team sucks next year, YOU'RE IN THE RUNNING FOR WIGGINS!

That factoid is actually the most popular headline in Philly right now. "Sam Hinkie is a genius! Our team just drafted Wiggins 365 days early!". :p
