2013 3 3/4" Black Series

So there are rumors flying everywhere that there are a whole new slew of figures that will be coming - apparently someone at Walmart spied these new figs coming up as new inventory w/ SKUs. Here's the link:

The Luke/Yoda Jedi Training figures are the ones I'm most looking forward to. I love the 2004 OTC versions w/the interchangeable head and arms for Luke, but we're due for a SA upgrade. And the Hoth Wedge is a long time coming.

I'll buy Pablo Jill for sure, it's been a long time that I was waiting for him in articulated version.
I'm also interesting by the clones in phase II and Merumeru and probably Saesee Tiin.

I had to look that name up, but "Stand by Ion Control... Fire!" .

As one of only two females with a speaking part in TESB, she's loooong over due to be immortalized in plastic.

 

And in Of Possible Futures, the author drops numerous hints that Toryn and Zuckuss have a thing going on between them.

I know what you mean. And to make matters worse the two nearest me closed down in the last year. I still have one close-ish, but I don't get out that way very often, and even when I do I sorta tap my brakes, ponder for half a sec, and then drive on by.

Kinda sad really, as I spent the bulk of my allowance on toys at K-Mart as a kid.

 

From those waves, the only ones that stand out to me are Pablo-Jill, Luminara Unduli, Commander Neyo, Merumeru and Saesee Tiin, plus there's also a few more that look alright. Hopefully they bring out some other minor characters like the ones in those waves, because there's heaps of great characters that could be made into figures.

Yeah that's the 6" R2. Everyone needs to realize the figures they showed at Toyfair etc were hand painted prototypes. Hand painted prototypes always look better than factory figures.

Personally, I like the sculpt, I might or even may get the Anakin and Obi-Wan starfighter !

 

The idea of downsizing these vehicles initially struck me as a bit odd. Most collectors already have the AOTC Slave I and the ROTS Jedi Starfighters, why would they want to buy a smaller version? But then I thought about the new philosophy Hasbro seems to be using, simplifying half the line and aiming it at kids. Not only does the smaller size include a lower price point, it's likely easier for kids 8 and under to play with.

 

Mainly the clone figures interest me the most out of the ones listed.
Would honestly LOVE to see more EU Mandalorian characters made into 3.75inch Hasbro figures like what they did with the Jaster Mereel/Montross 2-pack.

 

Im having these weird thoughts that Torryn Far will be released twice. Once as a regular single carded figure. 2nd time she'll be in a multipack Hoth themed pack with a K3PO or the red colored Hoth protocol droid

Yeah. It seems Hasbro wants the 6inch line for the adults and the 3/4 line mostly for kids.
However for the jedi starfighters, I think that the old size was a little too big comparing to the figure size whereas I think that the new size for the jedi starfighters is a little bit more accurate.
