Big fan of the Legacy of the Force novel series, one of the best series I've begun reading, I love how author Karen Traviss took characters from her Republic/Imperial Commando series (Which was my all-time favorite series due to the depiction of Mandalorian culture) and used them as various Mandalorian characters (even though the LotF series takes place initially sixty+ years after the Clone Wars ends.

So far I've only read the novels written by Karen Traviss (Book two: Bloodlines, Book five: Sacrifice, and Book eight: Revelations) because her writing style is captivating, and easy to follow. Since then I have begun reading Book one: Betrayal by author Aaron Allston, but I find his writing style hard to follow, and a little bland.

I actually like Aaron Allston, his style is easy enough for me to read. Everyone is different, makes life interesting. ;)

It's great to see you too ladies. [:D] I've been away entirely too long.

With three authors writing one series it definitely made it interesting. All three concentrated in areas of their own interest, but the series went together fairly well considering.

I miss the fiction. I haven't read anything in I don't know when. I wen't in a book store a couple of months ago and looked around. There must have been 15 or 16 books that I've never read. Some of them I'd never even heard of. I'm way behind. I think the last one I read was only about half of the FotJ series. Half of the second book of the series, that is.

Its ok Hermit, I'm still struggling through that still, I'm still reading Bloodlines, I read a few pages every couple days! So you are so not alone. ;) Nice to have some more testosterone in here! I suspect the boys were feeling a little overwhelmed ;) So, what have you been up too all this time since you slid off the face of the boards?

I think the last time I was here was in Sept. of 2010. Well, I have a two year old son now, been married for 4 years and I am now in the process of looking for a new job. Other than that pretty much the same old thing. Except a lot less time to read. A little one sure helps cut down on that. I know you understand how that is Addie. ;)

Didn't you just go and grow up on us? :p Yeah, kids cut out your personal time alot, but mine are 17 and 14 this year mate, so I don't have as many issues anymore. She's got a learners permit for driving and he's a gamer, so if there is a computer around I know where he is :p
