JCC Are you a neckbeard?

I used to wear a fedora, until I realized it was popular among racist and misogynistic d-bags. Since then it has stayed in my closet.

 

can I ask though; is the douchebag factor worn with pride, or ironically, when one dons a Fedora?

 

Well a great number of them tend to be hipsters, so...

 

i must come out as owning a fedora-like hat. an australian fedora-like hat, no less. i almost never wear it except to swing dance. bought it originally as a hiking hat but decided it was too heavy for that compared to a different brimmed hat i already had

 

I actually think fedoras look okay. Not worn, just as hats in general. I wouldn't get one, though, because I'm not a hat person.

 

You mean an Akubra? Not really a fedora. Has a practical use beyond hipster douchewafflery.

If you are male-model good looking like Jon Hamm, then I give you permission to wear a fedora. Otherwise, no. Hamm would die before being seen with a neckbeard.

 

Fortunately, as I am a female, it is impossible to have a beard, neck or no. And the last time I wore a fedora was when I was 13 and going through my Blossom phase.

 

What person of means and taste wouldn't die before being seen with a neckbeard?

 

I think he's just growing the neckbeard to provide for an emergency eyebrow transplant.

 

Almost as bad as neckbearery (and overlapping): morbid obesity and long hair.
