There was one month when I had like 7 ties, or something crazy. Hence, Inty's quote in my signature. While it wasn't about that month, it's certifiably true.

 

And you're off to a bad start .. That's a knockout game ...

 

I need DarthTunick to answer my question before I can start, silly!

 

I need a day to think about this, because it can really go either way when it comes to ties in over/under picks... say you pick the Oakland Athletics to score over 3 runs in a game, and they score exactly 3, on the surface I can say, "Yeah, that's a tie, since they only scored the 3 runs". However, since you picked the over in that scenario, why should I count that as a tie? You bet/picked that the Athletics would score more than 3... so what it if they hit that exact number? They failed to meet the goal set by the pick. To be fair, in the past I've been inconsistent about this... most of the time I've awarded a tie in such scenarios, but sometimes I did not. Also, honestly, I wish you guys would be more focused on either breaking your own streak records or going for the all time record/getting an insane number of correct picks in a month, since there is no prize awarded for ties*.





*As of now, anyway.

 

I'm already a VIP, I don't need to be the one to win.
