It happened in Tales of the Bounty Hunters. I'm a bit fuzzy on the details now, as I read it a few years ago and don't have the best memory, but somehow his "consciousness" was donwloaded into the Death Star. I believe it was the Death Star 2.

Bossk has always been my favorite BH. Trandoshans just exude a ferocity that isn't really seen in other races. You look at them and immediately think, that guy can hurt you and will enjoy every second of doing so. Of all the BHs, Bossk is the one I wouldn't want pursuing me.

Fett mainly because i think he played his part well and when you see his back story from AOTC and TCW, it gives you more of an insight to his life and why he is a bounty hunter! Also, he is just very laid back and chilled out!

I voted for Bossk, for the following three [somewhat random:p] reasons:

#1 I agree with and like Blur's comment above
#2 I also like Star Trek and so I enjoy the resemblance between Bossk and the "Gorn" from one of the old original series ST episodes:

#3 The character provides the basis for a great JCF user name I've seen around here, whostheBossk :)

Subliminally, perhaps that is why I like Bossk so much and never knew it.

It's got to be Fett for me.

He oozed coolness back then with his uncompromising, hard as nails persona. His armour, plethora of different weapons/gadgets and immensely cool ship helped matters, of course. The Slave 1 is second only to the Millenium Falcon for me.

Fett had a cool voice too ... until they changed it.

Edit: Maybe I just haven't got over Fett sounding like Dr Ropata...

It's Boba Fett all the way for me. He is the bravest, and best in my opinion. Boba is also very wise.

I'm also a Boba Fett fan (although I prefer Jango) mainly because I like his backstory and relation to the Mandalorians. Although, IG-88 is a close second for me because of the fun memories from playing Shadows of the Empire (and his unique fighting style in Lego Star Wars). In fact, I'm somewhat surprised IG-88 hasn't recieved more votes.

As much as I love the armour of Boba Fett, Dengar has got to be my favourite of the bunch. Especially after TCW depicted him as a more light mannered bounty hunter, which we rarely ever see. Most are serious, non-humour professionals. So he's unique.

I've always thought 4-LOM was pretty cool. Droid body, bug-like head.

Absolutely loved the bounty hunter scene in TESB, it is a shame that we never got to see them all in action (until TCW cartoon anyway - Bossk/Dengar/Young Boba) but they all stood out for varying reasons -

Boba Fett - The iconic armour, talking back to Vader, his ship.
Bossk - A huge reptile, he growled at Vader's underlings, looked like he took no ***t.
Dengar - Is that stormtrooper armour? Does he have a bad head wound? Rather grumpy looking.
IG-88 - A vicious looking battle droid, what weaponry does he have hiding on him?
4-Lom - Another droid but he's got what looks like a bee's head and C-3PO's body.
Zuckuss - He's little, fat and doesn't look like he could be very good at his job, but I bet he is.

Love them all, just wish I owned this to remind me of them all -

I became a fan of IG-88 when I had to kill him in the game "Shadows of the Empire". I kinda liked the idea of some robot being able to be hired to kill someone. It's not even like a being, just a skilled robot, seems like it would be the safest way to go when hiring a bounty hunter.

    Besides Boba Fett?
That would be Bossk, the reptilian Bounty Hunter looks very dangerous.
And a fun fact about my life as a Star Wars fan and collector: Bossk was my first Star Wars action figure when I was a kid.

It's funny that part of IG-88's head is in the Mos Eisley Cantina.
