True. But the Pens suck too so it doesn't mean much.

 

The Pens don't suck. They had a good season. Sure they got rocked in the series with the Bruins but they by no means suck. They hit a wall in a hot goaltender and the coach doesn't know how to tell people to go the net.

After the series loss this year I am not sure how the ownership brought back Blysma. Now the US Olympic team is drinking the Kool Aide too. Plus they just gave Letang 58 million. It's frustrating as a fan to see. Hoping we actually bring in a couple people to play "defense". Sydney Crosby is better than any player playing for the Blackhawks that's for sure.

Crosby is nowhere near the best in the world. Never has been. He's not even the best on his team

 

He only had 15 goals this season and 41 assists. I'd say his game isn't all about scoring goals. He was a +26 on the season with 10 less games played than the 3 people ahead of him(two of which were team mates).

Malkin is better.

 

Yeah. He's great with the stick. Almost as good as Datsyuk. That's about it.

 

If you look at relative Corsi yeah Malkin is better but I think that stat is flawed. Malkin just doesn't have the clutch that Crosby has.

 

Geno has always been better in the playoffs. Sid, not so much
