Celebration Europe II is just around the corner! I'm hoping they've been holding out on us so as to have an announcement then.

I hope so!!!! But it sounds like work is still being done on them so things are not fully completed yet...

It would be funny if it was announced it would be airing on Disney Channel... I mean the original press release did say it was no longer making episodes for CN, it never ruled out airing them on Disney... did it? I think the press reports of it though too it to mean no longer airing on TV though...

 

Man, that latest Yoda arc preview sure creates another plot hole - what with him having Artoo tagging along.

In a little movie called The Empire Strikes Back, where Artoo doesn't tell Luke that he's the Jedi they're looking for, that's what.

The lack of any more info sort of makes things look bleaker for season six. We'll probably be lucky to get ten episodes, never mind twenty.

 

That's the problem of only looking in the spoiler free thread for the bonus content... all the news that leaks out goes in the major spoilers thread. We know for a fact that we are getting 11 episodes at least. And there are hints emerging that we *could* get a full seasons worth of release.

 

Possible full season? That would make sense; considering that they were told to wrap things up, and only having a full season left to do that.

 

Though I doubt it will air as a season on tv.

I do not know about that. So far Disney has shown NO care for TCW, even the desire to get it for their own channels.

The only thing I hope for is that its released on blu-ray since the series looks so great in hi-def blu-ray that it would be a shame for the bonus content to not get that release...

 

I would be happy for any way the content reaches me. Just only if it reaches me... TVs be damned if it comes in an amazing DVD or Bluray case to my door.

 

It's likely they might make more money from the fans if they don't air it on tv... and its a DVD/blu-ray release. If its the only way to see the bonus content the majority of fans - and I would bet those that may not buy them on DVD/blu-ray - would buy the set just to see the final TCW episodes. It would be a good profit for Disney.

 

The only time R2 could have told Luke anything about Yoda was in-flight, using the X-wing's astromech translator (Luke doesn't speak binary, and Threepio was aboard the Falcon), but I don't think Artoo even knew at that point who Luke was looking for.

I guess one could still see the fact that R2 doesn't bounce around and beep and whir at the top of his speakers at the sight of Yoda as some sort of 'plot-hole,' but it doesn't bother me. Luke wouldn't have known what he was trying to say, regardless.

 

I agree. I don't understand why people go out of their way to find problems...

That's true. He had a hard time understanding Artoo without having Threepio or his ship's computer to translate for him. I still find it odd though that he was just sitting there listening to Yoda babbling about this great Jedi Master they were looking for when he should have known who he was.
