Buff, NY Lightsabers and stuff...

The Scorpion arrived today. Their name, not mine. It looks like the love child of obi wan and dooku's saber.

That will be it for a while. With the recent costs of some home repairs I just can't see buying another one.

 

Of course building one is a different story....lol

 

starting work on my next saber. This one is gonna take me a while. and I will not be battling with this one!

I have been taking a break, spending time with family and attempting to get work done around the house that has been neglected for several months, but I'll be back in business soon enough.

 

Ok...so I gotta lightsaber question...if I were to buy one...which company should I go through? (apparently not Ultrasabers....per this thread recently)

 

We've had some recent issues with craftmanship with Ultrasabers and I have done a few more repairs to their product than I would've liked. I would also recommend steering clear of Saberforge as again, poor workmanship and absolutely no customer service. That said, we aren't "officially" banning either place, but will simply say that it's buyer beware. I can make sabers and offer simple "stunt" sabers - meaning that there is no option for sound being offerred at this time and I am not color blending LED's to create purples, teals, yellows (although there are existing LED's out there that are pretty close...), etc. I do not charge for services and the only cost to you would be the cost of parts and getting them to me (in your case, since you live out of town, you would also have to pay the shipping cost for me to send it to you). A typical saber can cost anywhere in the range of $125 and up, depending on your design.

Yeah....that's not happening...I'd probably wait till I was back in WNY....got nothing to do with it till then anyhow. LOL. But oh, yeah once I'm back I'll get in touch with ya about it.

 

OK so I am battling with either getting a new sabre .....or getting some health shake (month supply)

 

OH and also my new saber blade is on the way......cant wait for it to see how it looks on my Dooku hilt

Actually its not those blades as they have yet to get back to me, and looking at there chat room the last conversation they had was like 2 years ago so those blades might not be available anytime soon.
