Darth Vader is on the trail of one Jedi—little does he know that even more Jedi are aware of his search and his impending arrival on their planet. The Jedi and their friends are waiting with a trap to end Vader for good. But this is a dark lord of the Sith they will be battling—and nothing is certain!

I still say they need to make posters for these covers.

I wonder if it implies that there's more Jedi than those we've already met so far appearing. Wishful thinking, most likely. :p

Given the flashbacks to all his accomplishments, I find it very likely. :_|

Nice recap of Jennir's life post Order 66, hope its not leading to his end, but at least it will have been an epic journey.

It's the Jedi Purge. He dies. If not now, later. So it might as well be now.

Sure but Dark Times is just so good that he is one of the few really sympathetic and complex PT Jedi.

Doesn't matter. It's the Jedi Purge. He dies. I'm sick of every Jedi protagonist in Dark Times stories living through the ending. Yeah, we like them. But we know they're all supposed to end up dead. Face up to it and just show it.

Oh I agree, still sad if he is gone, but that just makes it a better story.

No! He has to appear in Legacy 2. Legacy 2 won't be legit without a few (dozen) cameos.

I'm scared for our Jedi heroes; however, I don't think they should survive.

Just finished reading it. It's a bit slow paced issue, not much action, but great build up for the next one. The art is incredible as always. And the last page with Kai Hudorra is sooooooooo badass, Kai looks great in his armor. Can't wait for the next issue!

Interesting issue. I wonder just what Huddora has up his sleeves. [face_thinking]

Well, that was mostly buildup, setup, exposition and character development... but what a setup it is.

    A bloodbath is coming.

A good issues, albeit mostly set-up for the final issue; they really packed lots into this one, though.
The art was sublime as ever, of course. I particulary liked the panel of Kai at the end, but also the one of the inside of the Venator - it seemed to have "Imperial" (OT) fittings now, which was cool.

Yeah, beautiful issue, and so sad. What's really great was how we saw in the preview of Hudorra hearing of a few of Jennir's exploits since the dark times began and now he's humbled. Jennir has stayed on the path of the Jedi, while Hudorra hid. Its all set up, but such great set-up. And now I think we've caught up to the scene from the first issue. Now to see what Jennir and Hudorra do- its not going to be pretty, but looking forward to the conclusion. Its been such an epic journey.
