Discussions Who Is Your Favorite Star Wars (or EU) Character Of All Time

My favourite SW saga characters are Kit Fisto, General Grievous and Bossk, and my favourite EU characters are Embo, Cad Bane and Ahsoka Tano.

 

My favorite saga characters are Luke Skywalker and Obi wan Kenobi. Favorite EU characters are still Mara Jade and Ben Skywalker, Anakin Solo, Boba Fett, and Face Loran.

 

Boba, Revan, Thrawn, & Jacen

 

Of all time? That is really hard, but I would have to go with Kenobi. Looking forward to the upcoming book that should be out this fall.

 

This is a tough one... I'll have to think about it.

Wedge Antilles. He's the best. He's the baddest. And he did it all without Force powers or Mando jetpacks or Wookiee sidekicks. No bells, no whistles, just Wedge.

 

The only ones? What about Baron Fel or that Trommer boy?

Hondo is OK, but I prefer Cad Bane.

 

Eh, Bane had some good moments but Hondo was amazing in all of his scenes.

In my opinion, Hondo fits in better with the SW universe than Bane. Hondo is a real pirate, but at the same time he has a sense of honour.
Besides, the Weequay is funny as well!

He was protrayed as an unbeatable villain while Dooku and Grievous never won any battle. That is what bothered me...

 

Indeed! He comes across as the kind of guy I would like to be friends with in real life; he's loyal, honourable, fun – and he knows how to get out of a sticky situation! I was originally going to say that Kyle Katarn is my favourite character, but Wedge's character traits won me over; I am confident that Wedge is such a decent person that, if he was a force user, he would not be drawn to the dark side.

EDIT: I do have a soft spot for Kyle's former apprentice, too, which means Kyle and Mara are battling for the spot of second favourite.

 

Bane is just another Bounty Hunter. Hondo was our first Pirate on screen. Agreed on sense of honor. In my recent run through of the series I've liked him the most out of everybody. Bane fits in the series but I got behind Hondo so much more.

 

My favorites are Thrawn, Karrde, Mara Jade and Boba Fett. Especially in all the books.

My favorites based solely on the movies (no book influence) would be Han Solo and Yoda.

Lando does address Han as "pirate" onscreen though.

 

In the movies I'd have to say I'm between Qui-Gon and Luke Skywalker.
In the EU, Boba and the rest of the Mandalorian characters (all of them are just so good) and Revan
Of course I put Boba in the EU part because strictly movie-wise you don't see any aspect of Mandalorian culture or his story. Just how he came about and what he does in the fight between Vader and the Rebels

 

My only complaint about Revan Shereshoy Cabur is the most recent book. I like the character, especially in KOTOR the game, but that book made it so difficult to be a fan.

 

I haven't played the game yet, so I haven't seen that side of Revan. Maybe my opinion will change once I finally get around to playing it
