I have the complete Jedi Knight series on Steam, from Dark Forces to Jedi Academy. It was a pretty good deal, considering I got them all for around $20 or less.

Well, you know I love I love I love my Calendar Man.

 

So you ever have that feeling where you've gone through five revisions of a premise for over a month, finally get the details ironed out, launch the game, then realize the title sounds suspiciously similar to a different, earlier game, and you quickly have to change the title?

Because I did.

Interesting game though...might be a CS coming in sometime in the near future if I can work up a good character

 

As soon as I saw your post in Hoopers and then the game name I thought, "He named it Odyssey didn't h-YEP!" Course then you had to throw in the Iliad and Ajax in there sooo....

Eh, might join; been a while since I joined a Star Wars RP but we'll see.

 

It was kind of hilarious, honestly. I'm sitting there with that blissful "I just launched a game" glow, and then I get to wondering why no one had used the name before.

And then I remembered Fins already had. To say I scrambled would be an understatement.

Fortunately the Homer stuff is just an Easter egg, rather than plot relevant, or I'd be SOL right now.

I'll be honest. This is kinda how I feel right now. I've been playing a free XBox Live Indie title called Aegis Wing while I've been drinking and I didn't get shot once on the final level. It. Was. Insane .

Oh, and expect a CS from me soon Ramza. Been itching to get back into a game

 

Can I say, speaking as a teacher, I really don't understand the whole gum thing? Like, I get why it's a stereotype - I heard it said by instructors growing up. But I've never once felt any impulse to actually tell a student to stop eating anything, much less a freaking stick of gum. Why would anyone ever interrupt their lesson for something so asinine? Boggles the mind.

 

I can't argue with that logic, especially considering they didn't have that rule when I was in High School, much less college.
