While Strilo is in Wrigleyville I will be about a 5 mile drive south on LSD at Northerly Island to see Phish. And also Sat. and Sun. same Bat-time, same Bat-channel.

It's truly one of the best concerts I've ever seen. Probably top 3 ever.

i just got back. it was incredible. still kind of feeling overwhelmed. it was the first concert ever held at safeco field and it was a perfect summer evening for an outside show.

totally wasn't expecting the surviving members of nirvana to be there but it was a great surprise. so many highlights and really not a single lowlight, though i was glad he got "junior's farm" out of the way early lol.

Very cool you got the special guests Tom!

last night was Pearl Jam at Wrigley Field for Strilo and I.

Sadly, there was a 2 1/2 hour storm delay and they didn't really start the concert ( 4 songs before the storm) until midnight. Was a great time nevertheless. During that time Tim and I discussed the fact you would be watching Sir Paul right about then. lol

    Also got to meet Kukbacca!

Yeah here is the setlist. I will say this, they did cut about 8 songs out due to curfew (concert started back up at midnight), but they played like 32 songs, which is a respectable Pearl Jam set. Got a LOT of songs they rarely play and stuff I've never heard.

    SET 1
    Release
    Nothingman
    Present Tense
    Hold On
    Low Light
    Come Back
Elderly Woman Behind the Counter In a Small Town

    SET 2
    All The Way
    Do The Evolution
    Setting Forth
    Corduroy
    Faithfull
    Mind Your Manners
    Lightning Bolt
    State Of Love And Trust
    Wishlist
    Even Flow
    Leatherman
    Eruption
    Bugs
    Why Go
    Unthought Known
    Rearviewmirror

    ENCORE
    Future Days
    Mother
    Chloe Dancer
    Crown Of Thorns
    Porch
    Wasted Reprise
    Life Wasted
    Black
    Rockin' In The Free World

Speed of Sound, Sleight of Hand, Man of the Hour, Daughter, Better Man, Alive, Baba O'RIley, and Yellow Ledbetter were all written on the setlist throughout the encores, but were cut due to curfew

I did the Jones Beach -> Merriweather run for Phish and those it was the best I've seen them play since they've been back.

That PJ show at Wrigley looks epic. It's depressing I wasn't there...

Have an awesome time! I'm trying to catch a Philly show and maybe Pittsburgh.

You're in for a treat. One of the best live bands still touring. Their sets at Bonnaroo in 2008 and MSG in 2010 remain in my Top 10 favorite concert experiences ever.

Did you miss the whole thing about the 2.5 hour thunderstorm delay and how they played from midnight to 2am?

Just got back from seeing Bastille, Group Love, Alt J and Phoenix. What a fantastic time! Never before have I got to hear my favorite songs from all the groups at a concert. Main singer from Bastille joined the crowd during Alt J and I got to dance with him and got a hug. :D

Tomorrow is No No No, Foals and Arctic Monkeys.

went to see oneohtrix point never play at a theater downtown. ambient to noisy electronic music accompanied by weird and freaky cg objects morphing and mutating on a screen. i wouldn't say it was awesome but it was certainly stimulating.

    here's a snippet:

Bruce Springsteen last night. Only his 2nd concert ever in New Zealand (I was also at his first, 11 years ago). He opened with a terrible cover if Royals, but it improved after that, including playing the while Born in the USA album, which was the first record if his I bought back in the day and know inside out. Epic 30 song set...
