ST What would get you so mad that you would walk out of Episode VII?

Lens flares on lightsabres.

Well, I probably wouldn't walk out, but I wouldn't be happy about it.

 

Man, I don;t think anything could make me mad enough to walk out on the movie. I'll probably want to see it all, come what may.

I'd be pretty pissed if they went out of their way to destroy the EU. I think post-RotJ EU is a lost cause, and with the new movies that'll be understandable, but the rest of the EU should not have to pose any problems for movies set post RotJ.

 

Lightsabers don't emit light the same way the lamps on the Enterprise do. It's more of a 'glow' which means lens flares won't be done with sabers.

 

Wookiees with pants.

 

Gungans without pants.

 

I actually would crack up laughing if I ever saw that. I'd be wondering how the Jedi/Dark Jedi/Sith holding it would keep a straight face about it. Speaking if which, to anybody who plays TOR here, somebody told me when I was on there last that there is such thing as Lens-Flare Lightsabers? Could someone post pictures or something?

In 37 years of life I have never walked out of a film early. The one time I very nearly did was when I went to see "District 9". I'm still not entirely sure why I didn't actually walk out, but somehow I managed to sit through it.

If EpVII can make me just as physically nauseous and generally disgusted as that thing did, maybe I'd walk. Somehow, though I don't think that will happen.

 

If Episode VII is used to "correct" what the filmmakers perceive as "mistakes" in the prequels and/or ROTJ.

If a certain EU shrew with red-gold hair, or a facsimile of her, makes an appearance.

 

I honestly don't think there could be anything that would make me walk out. It's Star Wars

 

May be disappointed if there is...

A lack of character development for the new hero cast in favor of non stop incoherent action. I'd love the first film to be fairly intimate in introducing the new characters, the threat, the world they live in, etc. I REALLY want to experience the bonding the characters have and not be told about those experiences while they walk down a hallway.

An over abundance of political/economic plot weaving.

Overly goofy slapstick sidekick character that uses current earthly slang.

No subtitles for aliens! I don't want my aliens speaking English

Forced use of the Big 3 for fan service. I'd be sad if Carrie, Mark or Harrison couldn't give a good performance.

 

Mara Jade's a great character, but for this movie they should have her killed off(assuming that they'll go that way)

If the projectionist started playing "Epic Movie" instead of Star Wars Ep. 7, damn skippy I'd run out of the theatre!

Maybe if it was a musical I would walk out. But even then it would have to be pretty bad, maybe 2.5 hours of Lapti Nek or Jedi Rocks.

 

Someone posted a thread saying that they wanted to see Ewoks in the movie. Please God, help us.
