How do you decide which SW film to watch at home?

    I have always had this problem with my BluRays/DVD's in which movie to watch when I have some free time? When it comes to SW, it's even harder because I never get sick of the films, so I am always in the mood to watch one of them.

    What is your method of choosing a SW film to watch?

    -In a specific order?

    -Whatever you're in the mood for?

    -A specific trilogy at a given time

    -Close your eyes and pick one? :p

    Whenever I watch, I always watch the blu-rays, I-VI. No interruptions. It's a six movie marathon, the way Lucas intended.

    Granted, due to a usually somewhat busy schedule, this doesn't afford me many opportunities to watch it, but when I do... I truly visit a galaxy far far away.

    Usually my son picks out which one we will watch. :p He's five so I never know which one it is going to be.

    If I had a bad day at work, sometime I put on ROTJ cause the ending cheers me up. One a Rainy weekend, I watch in order.

    Almost always a PT film, generally ROTS. Don't watch much of the OT unless I'm doing a marathon.

    Unless I am watching them with my nephew in wich my mom says I should watch them the way I did 4-6 then the prequels. When its just me though depends on my mood

    i have difficulty now, if i watch them i tend to go 1-6 over a few days with my kids

    Good thread idea.

    I go for whichever movie feels like it's been the longest time since I've watched it, although I watch Phantom Menace and Return of the Jedi with less frequency.

    I usually try to watch whatever SW movie I'm in the mood for, but sometimes there are 2 SW movies that I'm in the mood for and can't decide!

    Exactly the same with me but I try to steer him away from AOTC when possible. Usually he picks an OT movie as he loves Vader at the moment.

    When I'm in the mood i'll watch 1-6 but most of the time i just ROTS when i watch SW
