Interesting matchup. Boetsch needs it to avoid the dreaded three losses in a row (even though he finished the Philippou fight with a broken hand, gashed head from a headbutt, and impaired vision from an eye poke)- I typically pull for them both, but I'm a fan of Rockhold first. Think he should get the win here and rise back up the ranks at MW.

    From wrestlingobserver.com/f4wonline.com:

--K.J. Noons vs. George Sotiropolous has been added to the 10/19 UFC PPV show in Houston. It will likely be on the televised prelims. Also added to the show is Gabriel Gonzaga vs. Shawn Jordan in a heavyweight battle.

Know nothing about Jordan, so I think Gonzaga should win (naturally)- nah, he looked good in his last fight, would like to see him make a run towards the gatekeeper spot.

Noons-Soti is a bizarre matchup. Noons is one of the best strikers in the lower weight divisions, Soti is coming off three straight losses, two by KO to strikers Noons outclasses. If it goes to the ground, Soti is an outstanding submission specialist, as he's shown against Lauzon and Joe Daddy. Just think it's more likely that Noons tags him early and sends Soti to Bellator.

Interesting that Vegas lines are MUCH tighter for this fight than they were for the Condit fight, when GSP was coming off of almost 2 years of ring rust.

The Machida Davis decision was awful. God I hate judging in MMA.

I bet you it has a lot to do with Money and Lack of figthing....he would have been sidelined for a HELL of a long time waiting for the courts to decide.....i know the dude was hurting for money, had to sell one of his homes and what not...so, i can see why he had to....still sucks though......

Shogun vs Sonnen is really intriguing. I think Shogun in his prime would have pole axed Sonnen but I'm not sure about now.

And we're live. Oh no, it's Jon Anik. Bleh.

I like Chael, Reem, Faber, Pyle, Lauzon to win. The others I am fairly unfamiliar with. Should be awesome.

    And to celebrate AAAAH:

Holy crap, that was amazing- Pyle's gotta regret stepping in for Alves on that one. Gotta love Matt Brown taking shots at GSP- I don't think he's anywhere near a title shot, even with 6 straight, but that's just me.

    Awful start for Faber.

Gotta feel bad a bit for Pyle because it didn't even seem he was aware he had been knocked out as he was challenging the stoppage when he was concious again.

Yeah, see that far too often, but it was a good stoppage. Faber recovered really well- the mark of a crafty veteran. I'm interested to see what Overeem does in this fight- has not won in almost 2 years, and he gassed early in the KO loss to Bigfoot.

    Juliet316
This is what makes Yamasaki a great ref. 80% of the professional refs would have stopped this fight as soon as Reem started flurrying- but Browne has plenty left.

OH MY GOSH HE WON WOW
