August 2013 meeting - Aug. 17, 2013 2 PM, Rock Bottom Brewery @ Promenade

Since we didn't decide on the August meeting at the last meeting, let's poll, shall we?

 

I voted for the 17th.

 

I'll be gone that weekend, so it's a mute point for me. Have fun guys. Oh, on the agenda, even if it's two years away ---- CVII, April 16-18, 2015, Anaheim. Droid, bin, and weapon transport will be ready (5x8 trailer hitched to the Durango this time). Looking for a couple people to help drive. Tickets go on sale Monday August 7th (in nine days).

 

17 or 18 work for me. I'll actually be home!

 

I assume this will be at Village Inn?

 

I think DWRD was thinking Rock Bottom Brewery, since it's right next to Dave and Buster's. less gravy there, too.

I never know if I'll be attending until that day.

That being said, if anyone is looking for an excuse to dress up during Labor Day <coughNotGoingToDragonCon>, there's a fun parade up here in FoCo called Tour de Fat. You guys may want to chat about it during the meeting.

Barring any personal conflicts, I am attempting to make this meeting. I will have XWP coins (Mando/RMFF) and patches with me.

 

Tentative agenda:

-Non-raffle tix for sale
-Change in RMFF council
-RMFF and Mando coins distribution/sale; WOTR and Open Cockpit update?
-Garage sale debriefing
-Shall we donate $30 to Urban Peak's Community Breakfast event on 8/23?
-The Arvada Harvest Festival Parade will be September 7 at 9 AM. The application to participate is due August 30th. We'd like to make this an all group entry like we've done for the St. Patrick's Day parade entry in the past.
-Strut Your Mutt fundraiser - catz44 event on 9/14 - wants green screen, shoot a trooper, participate in the walk
-Hauntings at the Hangar will be on October 27th. FB event is where most information is, so contact me for an invite if you haven't been invited yet.
-Celebration Anaheim - tickets, hotels, other information?
-Treasury update
-Host for December meeting/holiday party
-Schedule September meeting & group photo
-Non-raffle ticket draw.

most likely i won't be there...still in lincoln and very very worn out.

 

Things are looking far more positive for my attendance. And just an FYI - I need a commitment from 8 other people for the breakfast table to happen. The minimum goal would be $300 for 9 people (plus an Urban Peak person rounds out the 10).
